Thank you brother for your information, But the massai tribe is the most respected tribe across the continent because of their unique identity, their identity represent kenya very well outside kenya, most of the people outside kenya want to see the massai tribe, I love the massai tribe like other people across the continent/ world. You must be proud to share your country with the massai tribe. tourist want to see the massai tribe and the Great Migration, that region is very unique in the continent, I wish to visit that area. Well done the massai people, for representing kenya and the continent very well across the world .
A friend of mine, who was so close to me, i could call him my brother, used to work for the kenya tourism board. His job took him to several parts of the world to showcase Kenya's tourist attractions. He shared with me some interesting things. He told me one day he got tired of having to field all sorts of questions from (innocent ) and inquisitive foreigners when on these missions about Kenya and kenyans when he went to visit a friend's house in a social visit in Berlin. An Italian (non)gentleman went up him and started jumping up and down next to him while uttering barely audible guttural sounds as if in imitation of maasai dance. His friends beside him were all the while letting it rip with roaring laughter and were struggling for breath while a it. He could tell immediately that he'd been to Kenya before judging from his display, but he let him finish his display before he calmly informed him he wasn't a maasai, and indeed he had very many maasai friends, and even relatives. My point : many kenyans abroad suffer a broad generalizations as to their cultural background when in fact, they don't belong to one or another group they are presumed to belong to. It also doesn't escape them that the obsession with maasai people is thinly veiled condescension and patronizing at the very least.
My point: kenyans are precious and unique in all the groups they come from and belong to, they all have unique individual as well as group identities, and we celebrate everyone, the whole is greater than the one and all are just as representative. As they say, the joy of a meal is in each bite.

Mombasa has more skyscrapers than Abuja. Nakuru can't support skyscrapers because it is right in the middle of the Great Rift valley and sits on faultlines. Kisumu and Eldoret are developing some skyscrapers.

No! Is there any building above 100 meters in Mombasa? I am afraid to tell you it N O.... No. The snapshot below shows that MOMBASA doesn't have any building close to that height.

Abuja has three skyscrapers already built and they above 100 meters and another ones are under constructions.

The WTC 1 Abuja, WTC 2 Abuja and Millennium_Tower are these skyscrapers while WTC hotel (48 stories) and Africa Tower (308 meters) are under constructions.

Thank you. i have been to Lagos briefly but I'll make time and money to visit Calabar, Enugu and Abuja too. We need to promote ourselves.

It's a pleasure.

Hmmm! You have chosen very nice cities but make sure you visit Ibadan and Port Harcourt. If you have time visit Jos.

When you came to Nigeria, what was the experience like?

Jabavu/Hass towers

Tower 1 - 66 floors, 300m
Tower 2 - 40 floors 201m

Second photo is the render of the building. The first photo is the foundation of the building under construction in Upper Hill, Nairobi.

You are very funny ooooooo. grin I thought you would have shown me a building with its actual height but you are showing me a cleared area with no structure and a render, after considering what you said below. grin

NairobiWalker:

You're giving me planned cities and claiming them to be the tallest buildings under construction in Africa? Lol, please post me the actual building and it's height. The tallest building under construction in Africa is Jabavu/Hass tower in Nairobi at 300m. The tallest in Eko Atlantic under construction is only 135m. Please post me that building under construction in Nigeria that is higher than 300m - and please I don't want tired masterplans, I want an actual building with its height.

I also have a photo of the render of the tallest building in Africa and website to make enquires. grin It is 308 meters with 74 stories. grin

http://www.centenarycity.com/africa-tower.html

The first picture shows that the buildings you are talking about are still planned and others are still under constructions. The second picture used colors to indicate the stages of a building.

The third building is the render of the tallest building in Africa.

Besides, who is responsible for developing tourist attractions in Kenya? Is it Kenya's government?

I need to know. Thanks

Kenyan Govt works closely with private sector plus we have avery strong animal rights lobby groups.

I see! Private sector are the best for this. Thanks

If you ask me I wouldn't rank cities by number of skyscrapers, some of the best city's in the world hardly have that much skyscrapers.. Look at Paris,London,L.A,.. To me a beautiful city is one with good infrastructure, well maintained parks, flowers and trees between streets, recreational activities, In Africa I will add designated markets for traders or hawkers.

Capetown may have less skyscrapers than Durban,Johannesburg and Cairo but its still the best and the most beautiful city in Africa.

In Kenya a town like eldoret has more tall structures than Nakuru, but Nakuru is still better than Eldoret.
