I really don't get you guys...y'all keep saying the school is biased, bigoted and all sorta names yet you keep applying every year. I thought y'allwoulda learned your lessons by applying somewhere else.

I also don't know what you expect from the school situated in an Islamic state to do...go to unimaid, kano and count the nos of Christians, go to uniben, rivers etc and count the nos of Muslims...am a Muslim and am yet to be admitted so what's the fuss all about?

PS...and don't forget admission anywhere in Nigeria is all about god fatherism so please I urge you to look for sure links or pray hard abi take a bow.

Nowhere in Nigeria of today you can take out favourism... Nowhere! Though it's a phenomenon we all should stand up against but then not at this primal days of ours.

I'm also a Muslim waiting the heavy Hand of Allah to smash every obstacle standing against my being admitted this year. However it's not enough for me to rule out other aspirants' virilities...it has become a game and the smartest wins it all! Imagine a situation an institution's aspirants are well over 100k and qualified stand at about 60k and the quota awarded to it stands at meagre minus plus 6k...what fate awaiting the unsuspecting aspirants

They smartest have got to roll out cards!

All in all, I'm still positive and same I want for everyone else. I pray we all have cause to smile in the end.

Aspirants and speculations. People and their consolation theories.

You guys really need to go to some departments and actually take the stats of Muslim/Christian.
And you will have to forgive yourself for ever calling Unilorin Islamic Uni grin

Forget about its region, the school is entirely western.
And don't tell me their strong uphold to the moral aspect makes them "Islamic"... Lol. That is basic and it help them a lot in their administrative decisions

I will add mynown contribution....Unilorin do favour Muslims...You and I both know that...Especially if your surname is Muhammed .chaiiiiii....

unilorin and Muslims are like 5and6....though they do admit Christians...

but if they are given the option either to admit Muhammed Yusuf that scored 206 in jamb and Jacob olaniyan that scored 208,having the same O level.

we all know who they would choose

I know someone whose first name and surname start with ABDUL ...he even know a lecturer.. this is he Second time ..he never see admission sef..unilorin admission only favour u if u do their remedial or A level in there school...all other na merits oo

I don't even know how I still manage to smile. A direct entry applicant for computer science. I had a guarantee at my state owned university, but I opted for the better by far uni. Lol, still very hopeful as God is my guarantor. In between nothing wey my parents and aunt no go tell me. Lol

A school that doesn't release cutoff points to the public shouldn't be trusted. Am still certain that by next year, some individuals will still pick ilorin... Lol..
When they would have used the years to apply for schools like OAU, UNN, UI, UNILAG. That, though might be "calendarically" slow but academically bouyant.

personally I chose the school because it's course outline was the bes Ave seen for computer science amongst the schools I researched.
