How to Add bank account number to your Npower portal

You've checked and confirmed that you made the first batch of the ongoing FG NPOWER job initiative program.

Congratulations!

But what's the next thing?

You need to update your bank account details so that you'll be able to receive payment directly into your account.

Follow these steps to add bank account number to your NPOWER Volunteer Network Portal.

Enter npower subdomain at http://npvn.npower.gov.ng/login/

You’ll see a box containing USERNAME and PASSWORD

Use the phone number you registered with as your username and any of your three names as your password (my last name works for me as my password, so it depends)

By the left hand corner (if you use laptop or desktop) you’ll see the following options:
• Home
• Prepare
• Announcements
• Account Settings
• About NPVN
• Get Help
Click on Account settings

Clicking on account settings will bring up two sections:Personal Information; Bank information

Each of these options has in front of them EDIT.

To add your bank account details, in front of bank information click on EDIT INFO

Then select your bank and add your account number. You need not add BVN again it’ll automatically bring it up.

Click on update.

That’s all.

You can as well take a tour to explore other areas within your portal.

You can click on PREPARE to see the modules.

Contact selection unit for complaint if you’re unable to login

Some applicants who successfully took the online assessment test the last are finding it difficult to access the npower volunteer network with the same details they used last time.

If you fall in this category, please contact support centre
0814-556-9572

Or send email to selection@npower.gov.ng make sure the complaints contains your full name, the email address associated with your npower account, and your complaints and send.
All the best.

Note:
You're likely to see Facebook or twitter connection before gaining access to the portal.

Click on any of the social media accounts you have account with.

Then you'll be redirected under the page click on PROCEED to follow the steps above.

If you link any of the social media accounts with your npower Network you can go back any time to disallow NPOWER from reading your activities on your social media account.

NPOWER SCAM ALERT

Some unscrupulous and dubious elements have cloned Npower site to dupe the unsuspecting beneficiaries among the 200,000 list released by released by FG. This site is npvn.npower.gov.ng

They are asking all N-POWER successful Applicants to urgently enter the clone website to put their ACCOUNT No. And download Materials for their Induction and Training.

The public should know that the real site of Npower is still http://npower.gov.ng. It has not been modified and FG has not officially issued any information to that effect.

Beware of SCAMMERS and pass this on to warn those that have already received the misleading information.

Hello if you don't have any proof, stop saying rubbish.
The site is a genuine site created by Federal govt.
If you want to know, go to npower.gov.ng and click on selection at the top. Then click where it says if you have been selected, click here. Then see where it will redirect you to.

Stop saying rubbish if you don't have any proof. The new site was created only for selected candidates.

Hi guys,

I created a thread on how you could add your account details to your NPOWER portal, but unfortunately it's hidden by the admin, maybe because of the misleading news going round that the sub domain npvn was fake.

Please note that npvn was meant for those selected.

You're going to get the original news on how to update your bank account details on my web soon. I'll update this when it's ready

Npvn.NPOWER.gov.ng is not fake says NPOWER team

Npower team has debunked rumour that its website has been cloned.

In a Facebook update, NPOWER listed https://npvn.npower.gov.ng as one of its websites designed for those who made the first batch.

It however advised applicants to disregard other website which doesn't fall under its jurisdiction.

Npower legitimate sites are:

portal.npower.gov.ng. The main website for application

npvn.npower.gov.ng The sub domain for successful applicants who made the list.

The federal government has concluded arrangement for the recruitment of 200,000 youths in fulfillment of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s social intervention programme. The recruits, according to Vice Presidential Spokesman, Laolu Akande are the first batch of the 500,000 to be recruited into the N-power programme. He told correspondents that the youths were being posted to various states to begin work on Dec. 1 as teachers, agriculture extension workersand public health officials.“In fulfillment of the President’s promise to hire half a million unemployed Nigerian graduates thefirst batch of 200,000 have now been engaged.“What is happening now is that the state governments are going to be deploying those 200,000 to the three specific areas of need that have been identified under the N-Power programme.“These areas are: education where we will have 150,000 of those selected in the first batch who will be teaching assistants helping in the schoolsin the states.“Then we are going to have 30,000 who will work as agricultural extension workers in needs that had existed for a long time; and the Federal Government is going to be funding that.“Then there will be 20,000 that will be working in the community health programme.’’Akande said that between the time of the selection and Dec. 1, when those selected would begin work and earn stipends, the 36 states and FCT would be receiving the list of the recruits for their various states. He said that three transparent criteria were used for the selection one of which was that 40 per cent of all applicants per state were selected. He said the balance of 60 per cent was split to give special consideration to the six North East states which suffered insurgency. He added that the third criterion was that consideration was given to states with lowest applications.“The process is a very transparent one; we even tested the list before we released it; they were cross checked.“The application was online and in some states with internet problems their leaders got the data from the people and uploaded them,’’ he said.Akande said that the essence of the recruitment was to solve problems in the communities while those recruited would be posted to their places ofresidence. He said that if any kind of discrepancy was foundit would be corrected without delay. He said the recruits would be issued with tablets having various entrepreneurship applications which they would own at the end of the intervention programme.According to him, at the end of the two year period of the programme the youths would be better empowered as government expected better economy then.“This is an intervention programme that will last for two years,’’ he added. He said that government was working in partnership with the private sector to provide jobs for the youth at the end of the intervention.“We do believe that the private sector is the one that can actually create jobs and government is working on several issues such as ease of doing business and others to spur the economy for the private sector to create jobs.“We believe that in two years there will be more permanent jobs for many of them and that a goodnumber of them will be ready to do things for themselves because the programme itself would have empowered them during the duration,’’ he addedThe Spokesman hinted that the intervention programme would not end in the 2016 budget cycle as proposals were on to appropriate another N500 billion for social intervention programmes in the 2017 budget.Akande said that the outstanding 300,000 youths would still be hired early next year explaining that the 200,000 was the first phase of the programme.
