Mothers are precious and irreplaceable. Husband can come and go but mothers cannot. As a parent, i will do anything 4 my child that makes them happy. i doubt she changed her mind but simply went along. The question is mother and son in law are notorious 4 their issues, how will they now get along, have u thought about that?

The happiest day of a woman life is her wedding day. Thereafter, the happiness goes on the decline. Fact! U cannot love anybody more than u did on your wedding day. That day symbolises the hieght of your happiness. Everything, is just perfect until reality starts to set in one by one. i got things to do, plus i no be ur nwa nna.

Hanhan, what kind of negativity is this? undecided

Why speak negative things in a young marriage? I Reject this for Joanana in Jesus name, tribal bigot

no need calling me any names, i am not in anyway affected by her decision. I did not reject her choice and later went along. if i object it is not even based on tribe but the fact that yorubas (and specifically Awolowo) are responsible for the death of 3 million people via awolowo starvation policy during the Biafra war.

u cannot expect all of us with a conscience to forget that fact. To a certain extent, u can even refer to us as prisoners of conscience since we are living under persecution in Nigeria. If one of her ancestors died from the starvation policy will tolu not marry? If Biafra was created and Lagos was abandoned as intended, will tolu not marry one of his yoruba women?

Today again, thanks to yoruba people, 150 peaceful protesters were murdered, if her father was among, will Tolu not marry. They could have voted a candidate with mercy but they delibrately went for a tyrant who hated igbos and would murder so many at the slightest provocation. I am guessing her father is not around either, to drive home the mother no, in a way she will understand.

Everything, i said was based on information recieved here from them. Dont blame me for saying wat other people will think and pretend. I am entitled to my opinions and i make no apologies for that. I made my point without calling anybody names and u should be able to do so too.

My dear,I understand your grievances and you come across as a tribal bigot,it's not about calling you names.

If we are to use this logic of yours, you are not even supposed to be on this forum, because it is owned by an AWOLOWO DESCENDANT I'm sure you must have visited or lived in Yoruba lands at one point in time too. What are you doing here?

See,if you want to hold whatever conceived sins of politicians against a whole tribe then you are in for a long ride, because like it or not,you cannot do without that tribe. Or are you implying that if a Yoruba man offer to help you,you won't take it? because he is not your tribe and his forefathers killed your people with starvation?...

Oya,you need to look beyond your sentiment and hatred, live in peace with your country men,it is for your own good

Well distance barrier are some of the factors that are associated with virtual friendship. This and more are things I can't contend with dear. That is why I always emphasize proximity.

Listen u cannot claim to understand my grievances and call me a trial bigot. It depicts u as very unintelligent. We all went to school and we should all be able to express ourselves without insults but with banter at worst.

That is just it, 'live in yoruba land' as if the land was not abandoned in the 1960s and u came fighting for everybody to return, always tell urself the truth.

We appear to be doing fine without the rest of the numerous tribes in Africa, we will fare better without 'that tribe' as u put it.

I dont hate anybody, u should not go back to ur vomit. U hate igbos but yet cannot succeed without marry one. The tribalism is very strong in yoruba land. Tribalism even dictates ur marriage choice. grin

This country has expired whether u accept or realise, everything that has a begining has an end. Nigeria is not a natural entity.

Igbos shouldn't even be in Lagos. Do u know the distance they travel to get their? Unimaginable!

Mr man this is so uncalled for , even if you can't phantom the idea of an inter tribal marriage. The best you could do is to keep your bigoted opinion to yourself , my neighbours are inter tribal couples with beautiful children , not once have I heard of a quarrel in over 6 years.

The bolded is another one that i keep hearing, let me ask u? y is it that yorubas associate beauty with igbo kids? Are the kids from yoruba couples ugly?

And no, i will not keep quiet, if u want peace of mind, go and marry from your place not a people u dont value.
