I went last week it was negative but had weak bones and all so was expecting the doctor to say i had something (not HIV) but alas nothing still have weak bones maybe it's stress and the constant trekking. This is from what Ave read even if you went raw you might not get it cuz it's harder for guys to contract HIV from women than vice versa though not worth the risk and two if she's on retroviral drug it makes it harder for you. But still play safe

Well microbiologically, what you said is not true. Viral infections can continue to infect other people even when you are on treatment. The reason why viral illnesses are not curable is you can only treat the symptoms but you can never get rid of the virus.E.g. Herpes, genital warts, HIV, cold, shingles, Ebola, Hepatitis etc because of the virus protein coat around it which is complex

Meanwhile, bacterial infections can be treated completely e.g. TB.

Thats the reason why its not easy to treat a viral disease. Only symptoms of gets treated.

The fact that its in small amounts in your blood does not mean it cannot infect. Its even more dangerous to be infected by someone on ART'S because when you get sick as a recipient, the virus has already developed its resistance and those people become drug resistant and dont respond to drugs.

Virus being undetectable doesnt me its not there, it waits for your body to be immune compromised.

Just like people who had chicken pox, normaly develope shingles once their immune system is compromised.

Why do you think in countries like Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and SA infections keep on going up despite the fact that so many of their citizens are on ART's??

Thoseon ART'S continue to infect other people in numbers.

you're so right I've gone thru test about twice and I almost fainted and collapsed before I was confirmed negative
