About what they would weigh in 4 months, I don't have an idea cos this is my first time with noilers. And I almost can't say how much it will cost to rear them for four months cos I am just at 11 weeks with mine right now and I don't want to give you an estimate. I think people like Turk that have handled noilers well over the years will give you better answers to this questions. I am going back to rearing cockerels after this. And about the ratio of male to female, it is 50:50...this is according to the two cartons I bought... Some people may give you different answers but this is based on my own personal experience.
Does it mean that Cockrells are better than noiler...

No o! Cockerels take 5-7 months to reach maturity while noilers take 3-4 months to reach maturity. I just like the fact that Cockerels are uniform in size.

Bro noiler cannot be fully matured @ 3 months Infact if u want to compete in the market look @ 17 to 18wks but u can compare and if u feed Cockrail very well it maybe 2 to 3 wks different

Next time I will advice u try brown breeder Cockrail hopefully I will upload the pics by Jan

No AMO doesn't sell their own as day old the use the adult for hatching (to fertilize) their layers and sell it off as big adult

So they don't sell it as DOC

Good one here sir.
How many broilers per cubicle of the cage. And will nipple drinkers be effective in cage system? And I hope the spacing won't have any effect on them.

Normally I cage them at 3wks 4days and they are kept 4 per box so as they grow in size I reduce their no before sales they will be 2 per box to allow them space to play

As for the water cos broilers take so much water their drinker always have water refilled anytime it is finished

Interesting. But at 3 weeks 4 days, would they be able to drink from the drinker you used? Isn't it too tall for them?

Planning on using the cage system next. They would be less susceptible to cocci and other disease.
Re: Xmas Broiler Broading In Pictures by noeloge82(m): 2:58pm On Nov 30, 2016
Yea less disease

The drinkers are adjustable it can come very low or go very high it depends on birds sizes

Please op can 12ft(L) by 8ft(B) by 6ft(H) wooden cage raise 50 broiler from chick to maturity stage (12 weeks) without overcrowding.
I have interest in raising broiler but I have limited space.

Is Noilers Profit Wise ?

Is Noilers Profit Wise ?
Pound for pound yes.

A 2kg noiler will be more expensive than a 2kg broiler. To compare both will mean raising them to a specific weight or time.
A broiler will reach market size in 10 weeks while the noiler will reach that size in more than 12 weeks.

If feed broiler feed, the noiler should reach that size in 12 weeks. It is then both can be compared.

Noiler meat will be leaner and healtheir than broiler meat definitely.

Profitwise, noilers should be profitable.

Anyone who has raised noilers to market size will be able to give you the practical answer.

I like ur analysis but in practice it false
Have ever seen any successful farm that keeps noiler
Have womdered why
Look at it this ur broilers for fast food and frozen chicken u keep for 6wks u sell with high market demand, then for public consumption u keep for 10wks and supply to market women
Current price is 3000 and u cannot spend more than 1200 for ur feeding and Doc cost for that 10wks

Noiler is u want good market size u will keep to 18wks at the end of the day market women will price 2000 now I rely on family and friends to pay more but check it out is it family and friends that will grow ur biz the answer is no if not people like Dangote, AMO, Animalcare will be no where today

Noilers, cockrail are manly for pet or small scale bird lovers not for career minded people
U can visit big farms Consult feed manufacturers

Noilers are new in Nigeria. East Africa and India where a similar breed kurolier has been available have a lot of big farms selling tens of thousands of kuroiler.
Google Kegg farms, etc for more

Overtime, we will start seeing the adoption rate in Nigeria. Noilers are not for small scale holders my friend!

Noilers have been in Nigeria u can call AMO to confirm
Even AMO doesn't keep noiler in large scale they only sell their Doc if it's that profitable why is AMO not keep it yet the buy 6wks broilers on their broiler grow out scheme and even raise more than 20k broilers of 6wks u can confirm it is reality.

Tell me 1 farm that keeps large scale noiler even Obasanjo farm that has the highest no of variety bird in Nigeria doesn't keep noiler
