I just had to stop at the "bolded".

It's obvious you have something against this kid to be watching football from the back of your TV when Nacho is in action....

Enough said... NEXT!

Mickael2:

that dummy follow too? Lolz, come on!!! He literally missed the ball and it went to Sterling, granted he did it intentionally but that wasn't a difficult at all at all. His goal against Norwich too wasn't difficult. We both love Nacho but let's reduce the hype, he will be a great player, probably, but let's not over hype him one bit

It's too early to term him a racist..... Let's kill the racist tag for now please. I know many will mention Eto'o at barca... But I'm still watching Pep... Time will tell.

Icon79:
Sad to say but it looks like our dearly beloved Pep is a racist. I can't bet my life on it but I have heard that allegation from several of my reliable sources, right from when he was still coaching Barca. There's absolutely no reason why Navas should start ahead of Kelechi....gosh, Kelechi is even better than Nolito sef. So only Pep can tell us why he always leave the young on the bench, because Kelechi is definitely good enough to start for ManCity. And like I had said several times, Kelechi can play with Aguero because his favorite position is actually playing behind the top striker.

I think it's time for him to ask for a transfer.

Meanwhile...... As Iheanacho keeps "working hard, and bidding his time under Pep", Okonkwo Orji is making great waves in ITALY... IN THE SERIE A.

HE MADE HIS 2ND PRO APPEARANCE AND ALMOST GOT A GOAL YESTERDAY IN BOLOGNA'S 0-2 LOSS TO Franck Kessie's Atalanta.

He came on as a sub in the 72nd minute.

I mention Franck Kessie because he also belongs to that generation of Ivorien players who gave Iheanacho and co a hell of a time at U-17 and U-20 levels in 2013 and 2015... He's a midfielder and is getting rave reviews himself in Italy.

i agree that training with world class players and working under a genius like Pep will improve iheanacho's game but without actual game time it may go to waste. he needs real game situations to test himself not long periods of sitting on the bench which will only stagnate his game and lead to loss of confidence. imagine coming on for few minutes to the end of a crucial match with the added pressure of performing excellently because any slight mistake back to bench. what you have been preaching would have been easier to swallow if other players were being treated the same way. nolito, sterling haven't been extraordinary as of late but they have still been getting healthy playing time.

by the way today is my birthday grin

First of all, Happy Birthday our good friend. May God bless you and give you so many reasons to thank him continuously.

The Possible Names Of The Three England Youth International Who Have Agreed To Nigeria Switch

The senior editor of Owngoalnigeria.com Daniel
Martins has compiled a guess list of the three
England youth team players who are rumoured to have agreed to a switch to play for Nigeria.

Inspired by words from the vice president of the Nigeria Football Federation Seyi Akinwunmi that three England Youth international have agreed to play for Nigeria at senior lever, Martins drops his expert opinion on the possible players.

Moses Odubajo (Hull-City)

A no brainer. He ticks the right boxes, simply put the right/left full back Gernot Rohr is crying for.

The England youth international although out
injured is one of the players who has privately
accepted to play for Nigeria at senior level.

Ovie Ejaria (Liverpool)

His case is very straight forward according to
various reports, he wants to play for Nigeria and
Nigeria also wants him. He trained with the U-17
in the past alongside the likes of Kelechi
Iheanacho and co, who are now the back bone of the team. Representing England is a stop gap
option for the talented 18 year old, who will most definitely represent Nigeria at senior level.

Chuba Akpom (Arsenal)

Akpom’s romance with Nigeria is clear for all to
see, especially seeing his childhood friend Alex
Iwobi doing very well for the country he visited
during his holidays. Injuries have slowed him
down at Arsenal but there are indications that as soon as he sorts out his club form, he is dead on cert to play for Nigeria at senior level.

Education for genius super eagles player?my guy i disagree. This guy needs playing time, forget all this your theory which i understand but do u think Guardiola is on d same line with your thought.

It's a pity Pellegrin was sacked, this should have been a good season for Nacho. If Iwobi is having playing time and still learning under Wenger then who is Guardiola that Nacho cannot have a playing time still be learning.

This is one of d rock of super eagle,so he doesn't deserve to be on d bench for 5 straight matches,no is not good for his career and even our national team.It was experience that's making player like Mikel still relevant in d National team and for now Nacho lack d experience so he must look for a club or fight for a stake in d team, even 20 to 35 mins appearance for man city is ok.But not playing at all under d guise of learning under Guardiola is uncalled-for.

Read Mikel's Interviews, mostly the recent ones and you see him talk about working very hard in training. If Mikel does not work that hard in training, his experience will not do him much. People play down the training side of the game, forgetting that players train more than they play games.

As for Nacho, Guardiola said he will get his minutes. What matters is, when his minutes comes, he shows Top quality form. His speed has improved. His work rate is sky high but the young man can do more.

Nacho leaped off the bench excited when the whistle ended the Burnley game. He did not look demoralized. That shows he believes in the process of the coach.

Iheanacho might be a rock for us but there is still a lot of work for him to become one of the best in the World.

The bolded sums it all up..... Is Leroy Sane in the same class as Kelechi?? NOOOO!!!!

What about Pablo maffeo?? NOOO WAYYY!!! THAT'S AN INSULT SEF!!!

Adarabioyo?? Angelino?? Aleix Garcia?? HELL NOOOOO!!!!!

Kelechi Iheanacho is Europe's deadliest and most clinical forward based on his goals&Assists output per minute on the field of play.

He's also a "super regular" in a super competitive SUPER EAGLES SIDE, the Nigerian National team. Haba!!!!!

All the others are not... In the UEFA Golden Boy award, He even trumped Sane in the overall rankings.

Kelechi no get mate among him fellow young guns. He's done enough and is on another level compared to them.

SIR THEGOODJOE.... Pep has no justification to dump Kelechi on the bench for five straight games especially when he is in form and has always delivered when given a chance.

A player wont really grow unless you give him a chance to show on the field what you've been grinding into him on the training ground. It's just like studying and learning in classrooms without actually getting tested in the exam halls.

What should we say then?? That until you're perfect in understanding then exams will be set for you?? Is that how schooling it?? MUST ONE BE PERFECT IN EVERYTHING BEFORE HE'S TESTED OUT THERE?? I repeat... even Messi was not perfect in everything when he got his big break at Barca!!! Heck!!! Kelechi's first professional season even trumps Messi's first professional season and Messi even played more minutes!!!! Damn!!!

I REPEAT YET AGAIN, IF THE CITYZENS LOSE KELECHI "THE ALIEN KID" IHEANACHO, IT WILL COME BACK TO HAUNT THEM IN MANY WAYS COZ THEY WILL BE LOSING A SUPER YOUNG PLAYER WHO WILL TURN OUT "WORLD-CLASS" EVENTUALLY. #Wanna bet?

Pep berra knock down that rigid, stupid philosophical bullcrap and evasive tactical reason of his and admit that Nacho is just not in his plans so that we can all know where Nacho stands in the club's future.

I RATE PEP AS ONE OF THE WORLD'S FINEST TACTICAL GENIUSES IN THE GAME BUT PEP IS NOT THE ONLY COACH WHO CAN MOULD NACHO....

Heck!!! Even Pellegrini did a good job with Nacho and was more willing even with his own stubborn rigidity to drop Bony when it actually mattered and made Nacho no.2 forward.

NACHO CAN ALSO FILL IN AS AM OR RWF..... SINCE CITY HARDLY PLAY A SYSTEM THAT PERMITS AN SS.... Pep got no excuse!!! Nacho didnt dip in form....

Nacho works like a beast in training and you cant tell me he hasnt improved one or two aspects of his game all this while.... We are talking about a kid who's a fast learner!!!

PEP IS REALLY ERRING HERE WITH THE POSTER BOY OF THE CITY ACADEMY!!! HE'S EVEN THINKING OF STILL BRINGING IN A BIG WORLD CLASS PLAYER!!! POSSIBLY LIONEL MESSI!!!! IS PEP CRAZY?? IS HE FOR REAL?? What is his problem??

In Nacho, I see a super jewel and one who can outshine the greats but if pep doesnt see that then Nacho should leave. PEP ISNT THE ONLY GREAT/FANTASTIC TALENTS-MOULDING COACH AROUND.

City fans will regret it if Nacho leaves. Mark my words.

And Nacho will haunt them forever with loads of goals anytime he faces them. Even Pep's tactical genius wont stop it from happening... How do you stop a player who knows how to bury chances (half, quarter, and full) like an ice-cold assasin (in ways even Messi will be envious of) and knows how to attack space relentlessly?? What people dont seem to see is that Kelechi can be better than Messi.... The stats show that and his talents show it too.

City are about to make the biggest mistake in their history if care is not taken...... AND THAT LIKELY MISTAKE IS "LOSING IHEANACHO"

Nacho is an Amazing player, but we should not play down the brilliance of Sane. There are things Nacho does better than Sane but Nacho can not skip past players than Sane. I have repeatedly stated that Iheanacho should study and learn from Sane. In the EFL Cup against Manchester United, there was a move Sane pulled off that got my hands raised above my head. Such brilliance, Nacho needs to bring it back to his game. I think he pulled a brilliant skill in that game.

Guardiola understands the science of improving players. He did it with a lot of players. What Nacho needs is to improve ad get better. If he continues in that trajectory, he will become unbenchable.

I love Sane... I even prefer him to Nolito and Navas. He's that good.

But when it comes to stating points about Nacho and Sane being in the same kinda boat... I had to be truthful. Nacho is ahead of Sane... So we cannot say since Sane isnt playing then Nacho shouldnt either. Nope... It's not so.

So Sane remains a brilliant player but abeg... Nacho is ahead.

@bolded.... Yes I know that. I remember saying I trust what pep can do with Nacho on the training ground but not too trusty of pep in terms of playing time. Time will tell.... sad

It seems because of my trust in form coming from the training pitch than game time, I am not as worried as others.

As long as he keeps working hard, he will discover the Alien mode in him. As soon as he activates it, I pity any player ahead of him.

Remember, City watched Nacho from when he was 13 years. He is a big long term project for the club. Forget him not playing now. Guardiola said he will get his minutes. So, let the young Super Star prepare for his minutes. I need Nacho tearing defenders apart.

You are close to my point. I prefer Sane to Nolito, Sterling and Navas. However, like Nacho, he is not playing. I prefer Maffeo to Sagna. Yet, he is not playing. I am not putting them in the same bracket with Nacho but I am pointing out that these are good young players not getting playing time.

Against Manchester United in the EFL Cup, people asked me who was that boy in midfield. I said, Aleix Garcia. They said when did City buy him, I replied he is from our Academy and he is nineteen.

These guys are brilliant. Even though they are not playing, their will come. Talent does not rot. Ask Mikel and Moses.

We share the same dream for Nacho.... But our patience levels differ a bit... It's okay. Let's wait... Just that in Nacho I see so much. So much mehn... **sounding emotional**

Honestly... Even from my labs, I have made prognosis upon prognosis and everything about Nacho seems great.

Lemme hold on to the bolded like Abrahm Lincoln once said, "I'll rather be prepared and some day, my chance will come" AND ALSO SAID, "
give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening my axe (preparation)".

If the end-result of all these "waiting, training and benching" is seeing Nacho finally get his miuntes and deliver "Wooooowww!!!! "Yeeeeeeeee!!!!!" And Ouuuuccchhhh!!!" Moments with devastating effects and mouth-dropping aplomb.... Then fine! I'll wait..... I still believe. smiley

But Yara Yara... keep that monitor focused on Pep... Just in case... *winks*

Why is the top striker in the Nigerian league, going on trials?

Trials are for youngsters that you are not sure of, not professionals.

It is an indictment on the quality of our league that they feel, he has to go on trials.

Even in England seasoned professionals can find themselves on trials not just youngsters.

The Russian league is very different from the Nigerian league it is necessary to establish if he can transfer that ability to the Russian league see what his attitude is like, will he cope in the cold inhospitable weather.

Many reasons why a trial is not just necessary but essential.

Seasoned professionals going on trial?? Please provide one example where an active player in England who is not a youngster is offered a trial. Just one..

The only time trials are offered are young players or players who have been inactive for a significant amount of time.

RESEARCH: Iwobi’s Rise With Nigeria Inspiring Other African Players To Dump England At Senior Level

According to a work put together by a leading
African journalist based in the United Kingdom,
the rise of Alex Iwobi with Nigeria has lead to so
many stars born in England to switch allegiance
to the country of their parents.

Bournemouth star Benik Afobe recently swapped any chance of representing England at senior level by opting for the Democratic of Congo, where his father hails from despite representing England at youth level.

Hot on the heels of his switch, Crystal Palace
forward Wilfred Zaha who has represented
England at senior level completed his switch to
the Ivory Coast, while little known Arsenal forward Yasser Bennacer also did same by opting for Algeria ahead of England.

Robert Frank believes Iwobi’s career rise has
rubbed off on other players of African heritage,as the 20 year old is fully established as an international despite representing England at a very young age.

”It’s the Iwobi’s effect, in the past players of
African heritage rather play odd games for
England than full time international career with
an African country” Frank told Owngoalnigeria, com

”Ugo Ehiogu, Carlton Cole & Gabriel Agbonlahor
all played odd games for England at the expense of a full time international career with Nigeria, but Iwobi has broken the trend.

”Very clear to see that these players now know
that their international career can be massive
with the land of their origin than the land of birth. Thanks to Iwobi”.

I WANT TO REPAY $2 MILLION AL AHLY PAID
FOR ME - JUNIOR AJAYI

Junior Ajayi

Nigeria striker Junior Ajayi has said he hopes to
justify the $2 million Egyptian giants Al Ahly paid for him.

On Sunday, Junior Ajayi netted his fourth goal for Al Ahly in the league.

“I need to justify the huge amount of money
spent on me by the Egyptian club,” he said

“So, I thank God I am doing well by scoring goals, that is the main reason why I was bought.

“I can still do more by scoring many goals for my club, what I need is just to remain focus.”

He added: “I am really enjoying my time in the
Egyptian league, which is a good league with very good structure and organisation and above all the fans who troop to the stadium to watch the matches are incredible.

“The support and love for the game is something else.

“I have played in the Nigeria league, the league in Tunisia and now I am featuring in the Egyptian league. The leagues across Africa have really grown.”

MOSES WAS ALWAYS DESTINED FOR GREATNESS - KALOU
Nizaar Kinsella

The ex-Blues forward has given his backing to the in-form winger, stating that he always believed the Nigeria international would go on to be a brilliant player

Salomon Kalou believes that Victor Moses was
always going to make it at Stamford Bridge and
sympathised with the in-form wing-back after a
difficult first few years under Chelsea's
management.

Moses was signed as the Blues' replacement for
the departing Kalou in 2012, but is only now
showing his true talent after a series of good
performances in a new role under Antonio Conte.

Kalou, 31, now plays at Hertha Berlin, though still counts himself a Chelsea fan, and believes that Moses is showing his best due to greater backing than he has had before.

"I’m not surprised by Moses’s form," Kalou told
Goal .

"He never had a big chance like this before. He never really had this chance to show off. A big player has to have the chance to play.

"It is difficult to show your skills when you don’t
play, and this season he has shown the quality
that you need at this level; I am not surprised. He is a fast and technical player with great stamina to go forward and then to come back.

"Chelsea have supported him very well [this
season] and that is why I am not surprised that
we are seeing the best of him. He will have a
great season in a blue shirt."
