With the emergence of Apc's candidate Rotimi Akeredolu as winner of the just concluded Ondo State Governorship election, his wife Betty Chioma Anyanwu-Akeredolu is set to become the First Lady of the State. Mrs. Akeredolu, who is currently the President of Breast Cancer Association, hails from Emeabiam in Owerri Local Government Area of Imo State. The couple are blessed with four children, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (Jnr), Dr Teniola Akeredolu, Mrs.Yejide Runsewe and Babajide Akere

Igbos sometimes attract all the insults they get. How does being first lady translate to taking over Ondo state. Yoruba women have been first ladies in other states before now eg Benue state, nobody made any noise about it. 1 Like |
