wealth360:God bless him too.i pray that God will use your TRV success @Folaroyal to peppermint that female moniker that had the effrontery to call you names.it pains me that people don't know the free gifts they get here.walk up to any visa consultancy in this recession period and see the whooping sums they ll be calling for you and people even sell Lands, sell their cars or assets to pay for such services and we are privileged here while an ill mannered being thinks she can come from nowhere to talk to young focused intelligent individuals anyhow..her type is good for ritu*l* without remorse. |

michV: Thank you. I went to renew the passort today. Paid 30k for sharp sharp processing they said i should come back tomorrow. I called vfs and they said I should send a mail to accra explaining the renewal and see what they say. My application was a CALA one. Do all go through ghana or is there another consulate I can contact as well? |

oduzbaba89:Bro... that one with the 2naira gann is your certificate..... but really there's no harm in having the NPC as a supporting document. Just attach the new NPC with the 2naira one... 1 Like |

jayjayjay007:CALA is a code for CanadaLagos; that is the high commission in Anifowose, off Adeola Odeku, Lagos. In any case, they have requested your passport and except of course 1. there's a time limit and 2. Because you have submitted a one passport details initially......My advise.... complete your renewal, attach with the old one and submit with a letter of explanation. Let's just assume that VOs are intelligent enough to know that your passport is due for renewal and you have now attached it.... but a brief and straight to point letter of explanation should be able to complete the job. Your phone calls may really not achieve much.... you can still call..... but do the needful. Those VSF guys sometimes ehnnnn.... hmmmm Good luck. |

oduzbaba89:Awwww.... pls just do a declaration... no other documents except your international passport can replace your BC. You came too early in life not to qualify for the NPC cert.. Meanwhile... what do you need your BC for? |

Hi guys. Cc @michV So I ve been out for a while now.mostly because my masters application to TRU and University of Waterloo was refused.I tink I gave up hope right there. I completely lost hope concerning my application to Carleton University as it ranked higher than Thompson rivers university n I was certain dey wud refuse me as well. You see my BA degree in French 10yrs ago was finished in poor grades of 2.54...n I cud understand why most schs din't want to be associated with that profile.but my work experience since then has been commendable as an IT consultant with a number of certification n work experience with some International firms based here in Nigeria.however this did not influence waterloo or TRU n I was certain Carleton would follow suit.Only for me to receive an offer of admission yesterday for Masters in Techbilogy Innivation Management. Now the only thing I did differently with this application was write a letter of Intent that was exceptional,I researched the many technological coys like SAP,IBM, and the likes n got there coys perspective and problems they would like to solve and I was able to relate the courses in the program as the knowledge resources like me wud be able to provide to such coys and I got a PHD student who had once managed me at work write a commendable letter as well.but I was still sure I widnt get in wit my grades,I am still in shock because this is a program that even the Ottawa province council is directly involved with so its well recongnised. Its for this winter 2017,cos of visa drama am looking to write the sch to request for extension til Sept 2017.what do you guys thinks or is the embassy still tending towards attending to masters applications faster?...I am still amazed that this happened...I honestly tot the dream was over... 8 Likes 1 Share |

Folaroyal: You can apply at your country of residence, but you have to include copies of your residence permits in your application. Moreover, Canadian Embassies are not that widespread. The Embassy in Accra is responsible for Nigeria and I guess some other West African countries and that explains why there are delays in processing due to the number of applications they recieve. If you are a resident in any country outside Nigeria and have your documents, it is better to apply from there and your application will be processed by the nearest Embassy to that country. I wish everyone good luck 1 Like |

congrats @ T405 a motivtion from you and others are giving me to give one more try for canada which i have considered to be an option B by the encouragement too from @mikymiko on chats. I feel that there are two option here,if you have all documents ready, you can apply for TRV now and if it passed resumption deadline and you are responded, embassy will request for new offer letter or you may still defer the admission now if possible with your school for the next available session and apply after the xmas/new year celebrations. i couldn't find our conversation on my mails anymore.i may have mistakenly emptied them. |
