There is pre-market offer on Morgan Itrade now. But people will never learn sha. What is the 4 units, 35 units bid and sell I am seeing.
what I know is this, from 9.30am - 10.00am traders can log in trades which is part of pre-market, from 10-15am, no trades goes through to the exchange, in fact it is rejected outrightly. Market officially opens by 10.15am, stockbroking softwares from different vendors handle this differently, so it is not a crime to place trades during these times as the software( trading machine) has been programmed to handle it.

There is a rule that precludes bids or offers less than 100units during pre market period

Guys and gals what do you make of Transcorp. Though a bad company but will be sweet for JIJO. Thinking of hoping into the bus but is the price okay for entry? Coz it's important to take position early before Uncle Tony and his cowboys perform their magic again grin

Who says Uncle Tony is not tired too.

remind me how much then they pay now self grin grin

They will probably still pay good dividends, at least according to the last call transcripts I read... The dividend monies have been coming from the other group businesses not the bank

If you use a price to dividend ratio of 10, then Forte Oil cannot be worth more than N30 which is why I have not looked at the stock since the beginning of the year... might reconsider if it goes below N40

(Disclaimer: I am biased because it burnt my hand in 2011)

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ExLaidback: 2:23pm On Nov 29, 2016
For me FCMB is very simple.

It is a very good buy at N1.0x. Should it fall well below N1.00 to maybe 80k, then it becomes an even better buy. In fact a must buy (for me).

Strictly speaking, there's nothing super fantastic about GTB's current fundamentals compared to say FCMB, UBA or Zenith. They are struggling with NPLs just like everyone else, but have a strong online presence (and this significantly helps their fee and commission income). Well, they also have a consistent track record in their favour which spurs NSE sentiments which in turn makes some difference - especially for a short term investor. But that's it. (Caveat: I get beef for GTB, cos they're over hyped in my opinion grin )

So while the NSEASI might be expected to drop further with lower highs this coming year, the rough place FCMB found themselves last year where they couldn't release 3rd QTR 2015 till Jan 2016 and almost made loss, is not what they have this year. They've recovered considerably. So while they'll still drop like everyone else in the Jan/Feb bear, I don't expect it to be too much compared to others.

Summary: The market remains king. My analysis remains an opinion.
