We've a total of 774 local government areas in Nigeria. Let us calculate the census cost;

1. 100 Census officials (COs) per a LGA, you get 77,400 COs in total.
- Let's say they need one month to conduct the Census.
- Let's assume the salary per CO for one month is ₦100K.
- Total salary for 77,400 COs for one month is ₦7.740 billion.

2. Let's assume that the internet enable Biometric Handheld Terminal costs ₦150K each.
- New 77,400 Biometric Handheld Terminals will cost ₦11.610 billion.
- New Abuja Census Datacenter where all the Biometric Handheld Terminals store data via internet: ₦2 billion.

3. Transportation: a bus rental for one month: ₦700K.
- 7740 buses (10 COs per bus) for one month rental will cost ₦5.418 billion.

4. Food and accommodation per CO for one month: ₦30K (food) ₦70K (hotel)= ₦100K.
- Total for 77,400 COs: ₦7.740 billion.

5. Online recruitment cost: ₦1 million.

6. Training cost: ₦1 billion.

7. Miscellaneous expenses per LGA: ₦2 million.
- Total for 7740 LGAs: 15.480 billion.

Total amount needed to conduct Census: ₦50.989 billion.

The NPC Commissioner demands: ₦222 Billion.

Total minimum amount to loot: ₦222 Billion - ₦50.989 billion = ₦171.11 billion.
