Those that did clearance was the normal print out of o level result allowed? I mean the not original results, with your scratch cards?

LASU will not admit more than 5200 candidate for the 2016/2017 academic session.



The Lagos State University (LASU) on Wednesday said it would admit between 4,800 and 5,200 candidates for the 2016/2017 academic session. Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos. Fagbohun said the difference in the figure was to give room for other developments during the exercise. According to him, some of the students offered provisional admissions may not be able to register, and others may have gained admission elsewhere, among other reasons. He said the carrying capacity quota for the university from the National Universities Commission (NUC) was actually over 7,000. But, the university’s authorities do not want to stretch the available faculties because of greed,
he said. “As a responsible institution that had conducted an audit of the available facilities, we have decided not to go beyond admitting 5,200 candidates until we expand our facilities. “ We will continue to improve on our facilities to meet up with the NUC quota and give room for more applicants to choose the university as their preferred first choice,
“he said. According to him, the current population of students in the university is over 13,000 and the management is s adhering to the NUC’s guidelines regarding teacher: students ratio. Fagbohun also said 32 of its programmes would be undergoing NUC’s accreditation from November end and the university was prepared for it.

guys pls be @ rest we are all gonna get dis o,av just check d list on d Lasu.edu.ng now d site to heavy as if deir z traffic congestion,well wen I call d Lasu ICT center around 7:35 today he told me DAT dey are still WORKING on it ,even look @ d list imagine dem admit 1 guy for surgery and some others too.
wen I see d list it display gibberish BT I back and re click again it show d names in another way so surprise to c 1 person admitted for some courses. Hopefully 2moro sha

Imagine someone name has been on the First Batch and the Person is not Aware, she is even waiting for her name on the second list....

I Just saw her name while scrolling down the First Batch B list and viola and found her name.

Though i havent called her yet to break the news though am planning to break the news to her tomorrow....

I just hope the clear tomorrow and not say its too late.

for those checking their names on the list, i think itz better you just use the search/find option on office word:like searching out ur surname or jamb numbr. lasu may have given you another course nd it'll save you the stress of having to go through the whole list. For those who didnt see their names in medcine&surgery.
