That number 8 is epic. I have seen old men whose children are below 10, as a result of late marriage.
But in this economy of ours where before a man finds his footing, he needs to lick some dust, it is usually a tough one for them.

I stand with early marriage. But OP u would have stipulated what age u ascribe as "early" to marry. and one of the advantages u forgot to mention is that when one marries early, the couple stands a chance of growing at a young and slow pace with the kids. Have u ever seen a man who walks on the street with his son and u wonder if the smaller man is the elder one's junior brother? #TeamMarryEarly

the no. 4 makes early marriage a frustration.
Responsibilities tend to make you drift too often in between dreams/ideas except your parents are educated and well to do.

Agreed, maturity doesn't come with age, but early marriage is the worst thing any man can do to himself(if he does not have the support both financially and advice of elders around them).
A friend was like "Chris marry when you are young so your kids can grow with you" my reply was simple "why will my kids grow with me, dem bi my mates?" The three major things I owe my kids whenever they start coming is
1. A good and sound education.
2. Counsel them on life because I experienced it 1st hand.
3. A solid inheritance, even the Bible says in the book of proverbs 13:22 "a wise man leaves an inheritance for his children".

This issue of life is not crafted in stone. What works for one not necessarily work for another. Let each consults his creator, he has the blueprint for everyone's life. A righteous man/woman is like a tree planted by riverside which brings out its fruit in 'due season'. What is due season for different trees varies and is determined by God.

The best lesson comes from experience. Let me share little of my experience as an early married man.

Firstly I married at the age of 24. Yes. You read that well. And my wife was 22. Glory be to God our marriage will be 5 years this month 10.
Let's I forget, we weren't forced to marry because of pregnancy as it rampants today. It was our choice to marry early and our parents understood us.

That said, one super advantage that I have seen is that, wait for this, we are humble to each other. We hardly quarrel. We understood each other.

Another big advantage is that we are weaning from child birth early and go on to enjoy our lives. One more child before she's 30 and we are done, by God's will.

And another thing, we are achieving our goals early. Early marriage makes you responsible.
