odinaka5: This your 6 acres is approximately 2.43 hectares = 24,281m² At 9m x 9m dimension you will plant 124 palm stands on 1ha = 10,000m² So on 6 acres = 2.43hectares = 24,281m², you will plant approximately 301 palm stands. On land matter, the gurus here will/may help. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I am planning of going into oil palm plantation, I wouldn't say I am discouraged by what I have read thus far, I would rather say it has spurned me to work harder for the challenges head. Special thanks to the OP and everybody that contributed. |

tjadeniyi: It all depends on his target product. If his target product is palm oil then its ok. That's about the same size of seed in the you tube attached in page 9 of this thread by Mangan. |

migTHYme:taraba state will not be suitable for iil palm plantation, the rainfall is inadequate. some parts of Benue, kogi, do to the east , Western and southern states are most suitable |
