tzipporah: If the application fee is not more than cad120, use GTB naira mastercard(borrow one if you don't have personally). Opening a domiciliary account because of application fee is not cost effective. 1- if only official transcript is required. 2- it is never too early to apply. Don't wait till deadline. Dont get it twisted, #AmNotAPro. It is well. Shalom! |

Hello Great House...i twale to the gurus in here..michV, mikymiko, floraloyal......and everyone who has been making a real difference on this thread. I have 2 quick questions: - i want to renew my passport, will the number change when its renewed? - If i am applying via the online route, where will my letter be addressed to? Regards |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 11:15am On Dec 05, 2016 |
1. You will have a new passport number and the old passport number will also appear. 2. You should address it to Ghana. guzan: 1 Like |

oduzbaba89:Proof of relationship will include; Evidence of being a member of your family.... Birth certificate, pictures or previous sponsorships. Evidence of being in a union..... Marriage certificate. In all cases, an affidavit of sponsorship which already details your link to the said sponsor is required. Regards. |

Pls guys I submitted my paper route application on the 28th of July but I just linked my application online today and it's showing me that I just submitted today |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 11:50am On Dec 05, 2016 |
sshola:Hnnm... There's something oyinbo people call 'opportunity cost' where you prioritize your wants in order of importance.... Thank God you already admitted to filling a form (I did not think I did though... Maybe that's new)... That has absolved CIC of any inconvenience you may face during the processing period! So please its entirely your decision... You have an option to recall your passport if it is of utmost importance to you.... Good luck |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 11:52am On Dec 05, 2016 |
Qupp:The system will auto generate the date your account was linked as your submission date. That is quite in order! Regards |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 11:59am On Dec 05, 2016 |
If you have applied for visa, why not wait for CIC to request for your renewed passport so that you will properly address the passport to them as I don't want you to clog their duties. If it is CIC that requested for your passport, then the passport must be sent via vfs Lagos. But any form of email enquiry should be addressed to CIC Accra, Ghana as they are the one processing study permit application of Nigerians. guzan: |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by guzan: 12:15pm On Dec 05, 2016 |
Mikymiko:I am yet to apply for a visa, just making my application straight via enquiries. If i wait till my passport is requested, i will have to write a letter of explanation as to why am sending them another passport (with renewed dates) isnt it? or do you think its better to just apply with the renewed passport all the same N.B; no travel history on the current one anyway. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 12:22pm On Dec 05, 2016 |
guzan:Apply with the renewed passport and attach the visa and stamped pages of the old passport for reference purposes. Please I advice you always be clear with your questions for clear advice/suggestions. |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 1:30pm On Dec 05, 2016 |
MsLee: As long as the school has a DLI number its fine Just include your new admission letter and a nice SOP, you would get your trv this time |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 1:44pm On Dec 05, 2016 |
Folaroyal: Did you just solve a problem now, or you just displayed your grammatical prowess? Come on bro, just a simple advice will JUST BE FINE. I am in a fix, and the least thing I need is a reminder of how much of a mistake I have made... |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 1:48pm On Dec 05, 2016 |
nelly28: To be sincere here, I am looking for other options from other countries, because CIC has refused me once with travel history as part of the 3 reasons. I didn't expect to have it this early. I need all the possible pieces of advice |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 1:51pm On Dec 05, 2016 |
MsLee:Brandymcmb answered you. Meanwhile in order to get a comprehensive response... always give detailed info ... It helps! And also guides you on not making one same mistake another time as we may be able to deal with the reasons for the refusal. What is your UnderG course? Did you fill your undergraduate course in the application form? What level of study was applied at Cambrian college? When did you first apply? Online or paper? Upfront medical of CIC medical call? No school is a problem as long as it has a DLI nos and approved to host international students; we're the ones who will be required to deal with our issues to improve our chances! Regards |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by nelly28: 1:52pm On Dec 05, 2016 |
MsLee: Bro I guess u ve tackle d issue by going for MBA, but I hope ur undergraduate course is related to ur MBA too, but if not u need a very strong LOE. I wish u success in ur next trv |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by nelly28: 2:03pm On Dec 05, 2016 |
sshola: na I get ur point bro, but try 2 've faith in God dat dis time around d case will b different, travel history is really not d issue because trv has been chop wit no Trv history, I would 've ask to join u to review ur documents but no need u 've submitted already so jst b hopeful, but u can still mail to request it ooh jst to b on a safe side too. but b hopeful |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 2:10pm On Dec 05, 2016 |
sshola: OK... But what makes you think I or any or even every other person on the thread does not have a much pressing need for their passports I am not in the habit of talking back but as much as I respect your concern.... I am sorry but to be honest...you will not get any advise as regards that particular issue better than that... except of course you want me to be insincere. We simply do NOT have to be rude here.... let's respect one another... let's take opinions and comments with some sense of tolerance and .......common....!!! show some love to someone who has even spared a minute to respond to you!!!! If you really want to know.... I as many others have really pressing needs for our passports but still chilling..... Cos you know your purpose... isn't? It still boils back to.. Opportunity cost! Wish you all the best dear! |
