I agree, there's actually no big difference between the Air beetle me made and the Super Mushak. They are essentially a similar type basic trainer.

We would have advanced the engineering of the Air beetle, all the same I'm glad with the progress we are making with the induction of the Super Mushak.

The Super Mushak is a basic trainer, it would replace NAF Daimond trainer as NAF's primary trainer. The Daimond trainer could not do any maneuver even if "a gun was pointed at it's head".


I don't know if we would still acquire the Tucano, the messages from the NAF and media have been mixed. However the fact is, the Tucano is the best suited aircraft for the NAF at this point. Again, if we don't get the Tucanos, we could still channel the money to acquiring more combat helicopters.


The L-39 is a lead-in fighter trainer. They would continue in that role until a suitable replacement for them is found.

The Jamboree is even too little. The streets of Kaduna, Kano, Abuja, Lagos, Port-Harcourt and Enugu should have been decorated with balloons and confetti.


You guys simply are unaware or just plain oblivious of the symbolism of this purchase. For the umpteenth time, nobody is celebrating the aeroplane. That's not what this party is there for.
