Good evening all, I write with a heavy heart, am completely devastated!!! I just got a mail to check my account I linked online to find that my application has been refused. I applied Nov.7, my problem now is I don't know the reason for refusal yet. I only saw my application has been refused when I opened my CIC account because I did paper application. Please how will I check the reason for my refusal, because the vfs has not even sent me an SMS for my passport maybe if the reason will be in the letter attached to the passport. Pls I need your response ASAP, so that at least I know what to do next, please. |

Frostbaby: Sufficient fund mean different things 1: scholarship covering tution and upkeep of cad10,000 - 15,000. Submit reasonable personal account. Some submitted as low as #500,000 and still got visa with this case. 2: no scholarship, personal account balance showing tution fee and upkeep about 15,000 with no dependant. 3: no scholarship and no sufficient personal account as case 2, you present a sponsor account that fulfill case 2, have enough to support sponsor and dependant- let's say cad 5,000 each for sponsor and dependants, and must prove-beyond doubt- relationship with sponsor. In any of the case above, the account must show good in and out flow of money in the account. Cash lodging doesn't help. Note: Am not an expert and all have said is based on my readings only. No personal experience. 2 Likes |

Mikymiko: OK. Reasons? I don't know yet. I only saw that my application was refused today on the cic website. No email or sms yet. I want to quickly use the GCMS service to get as much info as possible to aid a possible re-application. Prog.: PhD School: Queen's Sponsor: Govt Agency. Scholarship amount covers fees and 15k upkeep for 3 years (now you know who) Age: Very early 30s, single Date: Nov 1, 2016. Due to pressure from my supervisor, and unwillingness to renew my rent, I was in too much of a hurry to make it by January 31, 2017, so my application was a bit watery. I just put in the scholarship letter without adding my personal SOA or personal assets (or possibly a co-sponsor). I work in a govt agency (so pay not huge), added my pay slips and employment and regularisation letters and thought that would suffice for the ties to home country. No letter of intro to show that I would be granted study leave with pay with a bond (takes too long to get cos of bureaucracy). I wager that the reasons will include finance, and purpose of visit. Hopefully nothing more 'serious' than those. After going through here, I have come to see that it was not a very convincing application. I had too much confidence in my sponsorship and took then for granted a bit. My LOE was also a bit sketchy. Please which GCMS service is cheap and reliable? (gcmsnow?) 1 Like |

I am in a similar situation with you, M.SC application, 25 years old I have two sponsors (first sponsor who is my half sister with 7m balance, second sponsor my mentor who is based in the US plus I have 1.8m balance) Am currently working and have an NGO I don't know what the issue is Pls I just PM you, so maybe we can work together to solve this. Please house, how long will I wait to know the real reason for my refusal before I use GCMS service, at least let me see the first reason. OK. Reasons? I don't know yet. famous17:Ohhhh... So sorry to hear that!.. We still have to thank God in all situations. At least you even got a response so quickly.. and you can equally begin to plan a refire!! What if you got this same decision after waiting for 3 or 4 months... So thank God! Meanwhile... you will only be able to get the reasons after you pick up your package. Just start by relaying your credentials for scrutiny; You applied Nov 7..paper app. What sch and program/level? What's your UG course? Who is the sponsor? Did you do or were you called for medicals? Do you work at the moment? What's your travel history? Regards. |

Kindly provide all necessary information on document submitted as other member of this forum requested for proper analysis and advice. No info can be given without all this. Your friend can also request from his/her GCMS through this link GCMS , here's the link to order for it http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp Frostbaby: 2 Likes |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 8:27pm On Dec 07, 2016 |
Frostbaby: The tuition is very high. I only ask you his one year tuition cost. He should add his NPC birth certificate to prove that his sponsor is the father. Let his father swear an affidavit of sponsorship on his behalf before a Notary Public. Let him include his parents assets. He may also increase the tuition deposit to 10,000 CAD as his tuition fee is very expensive. (just to try convincing them with a greater commitment). 1 Like |

Add ur SOA, Assets. Still find a relation to also draft a sponsorship letter and provide his SOA. Indicate in your study permit application that your fees will covered by Scholarship.
