The need for us to be sober and watchful unto the very end cannot be over emphasized.

Every day we are buffeted with the cares of life that tries to drown out the still small voice that constantly appeals to us to keep watch.

I am creating this thread to serve as a kind of rendezvous for all of us faithful watchers who are looking anxiously for the return of our BLESSED GOD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST.

From the two verses above (in the OP) and linked with Daniel 2:44 which tell us that God will set up His kingdom in the days of the ruling kings of Iron and Clay,

And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

The days of these kings has been computed to end on the 20th of January 2017. It means that the kingdom of God will be set up on or before this date.

Brethren, so that we may not lose focus, let us all turn this thread to our playground. Post anything, let us chat, yab anybody, let us discuss, let it be right there before us, to serve as warning, to serve as reminder, so that we will not sleep off, so that we will remain sober, so that we remain awake to receive OUR GREAT MASTER as he arrives in the clouds of heaven.

It is upon us

Luke 21:34-35

Luke makes it CATEGORICALLY CLEAR that the day will catch all the dwellers of the earth completely unawares, they will be snared and trapped.

There will be no great flashes in the skies, it will happen on the normallest of days.

Now Paul calls us brethren, he calls us the inner circle, brother Paul tells us that we are not in darkness, he says that day cannot overtake us as a thief because we KNOW it is coming.

We know that the day is approaching although we do not know the specific day. Daniel already told us the end, so by triangulating now, with the end that Daniel gives us in Daniel 2:44, we KNOW that Christ will come any day between now and 20th January 2017.

It will come as a thief for the world, yet for brethren, it will be fully anticipated and expected.
