According to a Facebook user, The exchange below is that between a Nigerian police officer and a motorist. In the video, the cop is seen demanding a bribe of N25,000 before he could let the motorist go for apparently what could have been a minor offense (or no offense at all). The man in a bid to free himself from the officer offered N2,000 but the officer vehemently refused.

Citing the fact that he was not working alone, the policeman obviously stubbornly refused to let the man go, and was even heard saying "...no be 50 dollars, 20 dollars and other dollars dey there?" even as the man tried to explain that the foreign notes were his fees for excess luggage at the airport.

This is another brazen act of impunity and corruction which is embodied in Nigeria’s Police Force. These kind of acts are well capable of eroding the public confidence in the nation’s security outfit and finish off what is left of it’s already battered image.
