Funny enough the jobs being outsourced can be perfectly done by Nigerians. It baffles me how many job has gone out due to the mentality that if it's from abroad then it is the best. That being said, make dem leave the data price for where e dey abeg... 4 Likes |

Outsourced to cut cost, eventually get laid off. Nigeria Telecom operators are scammers, yet they make their millions per minute. And for the levy collecting, rather than policy regulating NCC, reduce cost of bandwidth, not increase price of data, to new operators so as to give them a starting advantage. The masses do not have to suffer your regulated miscalculations. However, setting up a tier-four data center is the key. We have a large number of Internet penetration in this part of Africa. Let the NCC, in conjunction with ministry of Communication Technology do the needful, not just billing. Getting tired of mallams heading parastatals 1 Like |

nigeria is backward tech wise, we lack professional hardware and software integration to bring this required infrastructure. Even cert for database and Web verification we no get. Quickteller for example uses US security tryst online siggy for verification likewise fb et AL. Seriously, it's time our government and legislators think beyond stomach infrastructure and make a blue print on Tech And Data centers. 1 Like |

Because the government is clueless, outsourcing is the way. But as usual, it is abused where they give their cronies government contracts without due process. But ideally, sourcing has several benefits. A few include: Quick work: No doubt, private agencies are known to work much more quickly when you compare it with the sloppy working movements in government sector. Smoother operation: As a part of the work is outsourced, it becomes relatively easier to operate. The government agencies can carry out with other work and integrate the results to have a much smoother operation. Simultaneous working: As a separate team is also working on parts of the job, more work can be accomplished in shorter time duration. Best of both the worlds: There is absolutely no doubt about the fact that there is a huge difference in the working ways of government sector and private sector. When government agencies outsource their work to private sectors, it will help them in enjoying the benefits of both the world. Cost cutting: Outsourcing has been considered to be one of the most effective ways of cutting down on your total cost. You can choose to keep your budget in check by simply choosing the best companies and getting the finest work done at right rates. 2 Likes

Outsourcing is Good, it creates a level ground for our local businesses/industries to increase their services, no time for I sabi you business, I will rather outsource my project/business to a foreign reputable firm than give a local who will do nothing but jump from hanger to pole with my project |
