Fellow nairalanders, please I need advise on how to set up a college of technology basically for Information technology alone. I already have the land but I need IT gurus to help in giving me ideas like the curriculum to use and how to run it. I am also thinking of partnering with firms abroad to consolidate on the school.

U can look @ the curriculum of software and hardware eng for school of innovative studies or monotechnics. Its the same upto what niit is offering if not better than.

Relevant Library, system units of computers, AC or Fans, Central UPS or in pieces, projector board and its machine, pc desk, markar board, a good trunking system, a hub or switch, cat5E cables and RJ45 for networking, a good lightening point etc, when I remember I will tell u more. But u should know the capacity u want to build.

And u will surely need softwares( application software, system softwares, assembliers etc) try get the originals.
