my brother, u get eye!wht I experienced today ehhhh. I supplied 50kegs of 25litres to one small boy in Zaria at 7k wif transportation around June Dis yr. he stored it and wanted to sale January next yr. I had to call d parents, pleading to talk to him after several calls cos a customer of mine from katsina wanted oil urgently. to cut d stories short, we had to beg like what before they accepted to sale @ 25k per cake for us and only 40kegs is what they can release. d guy made 1million naira plus extra 10kegs remaining without stress for goods I supplied @ 350k. If I had my ways, storage is d best buh I've got too many suppliers. just gather some cash down, once d price falls reasonably low, I wud inform d house so u can buy from any supplier in d house and store. good luck sir.

Earnestly there is money in oil and I am a living testimony.I wud save DAT story for anoda day. just draw ur plans first, and ur target market and they wud be hunting for you.

I'm based in Abuja and my targeted market will be Abuja.
One thing I know about agricultural produce is that there is always market for it, I don't have any experience in palm oil marketing here in Abuja but I know I can never go wrong I might not meet the expected profit target but I will never run at loss.

I do bring supply to abuja regularly and I know wht it means to be a distributor there. if u know gwagwalada very well, there is someone I don't wanna mention name who started @ DAT their market with just 3kegs. today he buys more than 100kegs, he's married and just completed his building at one place called lugbe. seeing is believing, I wud hook you up anytime I bring supplies to abj.

best period is march to mid July for storage. your drums shud be plastic or rubber as fondly called.metallic tanks/ drums increases d oxidation state and FFA( free fatty acid) of d oil. this inturn affects the odour,other factors like viscosity, stearin(d thick oil part) and olein(d light part) ratios affects storage too.as promised, I wud post some stuffs Lara on storage I worked on recently.best of luck

d price to pH had been quoted earlier,24500. you can start wif any amount buh I wud advise u wait till march when d price is a bit down since u r starting. Remember to break into d market ur price must be lower than those of ur competitors, u can only achieve Dis come march - July next yr. if u start now, breaking even may even be an issue. best of luck sir

What happens if he doesn't pay up by next week as promised?
And you must incur cost of feeding your boys till the buyer eventually pays up.
Lemme advise that you insist on down payment of at least 60% of the total cost of delivery before sending your boys out with your produce.

Am very grateful for ur contributions sir! my quest is beyond d finamcial gain buh to get pure unadulterated palm oil to d doorsteps of every Nigerian. heneceforth,am finking of getting @least 3 orders from any geopolitical zone before moving so we can @least recover transportation cost. with time, people wud get to value our ethics. good things don't come easy!
