Am not a happy man at all. I did not make the list.

Now. After heavily investing in this job and the stress of traveling up and down, this is how it ended. Now am confused, age is no longer on my side. Job not easy in the country. Waking up in the morning and just be hoping aimlessly and hopelessly with no succour in sight.

May i say a big congratulations to those who made it. I want to equally encourage them to be magnanimous in victory. Put us who couldn't make the list in ur prayers and those who got connection among you should remember us too. Show us some affection and support so we can climb the top too.

I am grieved somebody console me please!

It is unfair to most local govts / districts and I'm sure some local govts produced more than one slot if not they would have listed each LGA alongsides the names.

Guy don't expect all the applicants to be successful, just because u didn't make it doesn't mean d recruitment process wasn't transparent

Tension as Nigeria Police Force website is suspended

Abuja - The Police Service Commission website (www.psc.gov.ng ) website was suspended on Thursday leaving thousands of the successful applicants unable to access the website, Herald reports.

Attempts to log into the site comes up with the error message: “This account has been suspended. Contact your hosting provider for more information.”

Also, the Nigeria Police Force website, (www.npf.gov.ng) is experiencing the same error as attempts to access the 2016 recruitment page comes up with an error message.

However, it has been reported that the firm in charge of the website, Galaxy Backbone Plc was working on it as applicants have been told to exercise patience.

“The website has been having some issues which we rectified, but the latest hitch was on account of the huge number of people trying to access it. Engineers from Galaxy Backbone are working on it, I am sure it would be up any moment from now,” The PSC spokesman, Ikechukwu Ani revealed.

The names of about 10 000 successful applicants made up of 500 Cadet Assistant Superintendents of Police, 500 Cadet Inspectors, 7 500 Constables and 1 500 specialists are expected to be uploaded on the PSC and police websites.
News24 previously reported that the Police Service Commission (PSC) on Tuesday released names of successful applicants for recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force in the Federal Government’s 10 000 policemen recruitment programme.

I really weep for Nigeria when i saw the specialty cadre list been released. I begin to ask myself of what use is an engineer, lab sciences, livestock technicians etc functional in the police force neglecting the real professionals off the job, it was so surprising not seeing Clinical Psychologist, general psychologist, sociologist, criminologist and other functional professionals in the behavioural sciences not on that list.
In develop country policing isnt just a job u should just push out on the street for every unemployed graduate but the professionals who would do the job of policing better. Nigeria we still have a long way to go in the recruitment process.
Nigerian will be great someday.
