All public universities in Norway are tuition free. All masters program in public Norwegian University are tuition free. Very few BSc program taught in English exist in Norwegian public universities and some of the BSc program levies tuition fee for students outside the Eu/EEA. Most Norwegian University requires atleast C to be eligible for masters admission but this is mere lipservice as it is often the case that mostly applicants with B (2nd class upper) are offered admission. This is even more practicable if you had your previous education in a developing country. This also could be due to the fact that admission in Norway is highly competitive occasioned by the free and quality education To the lady that enquired about BSc studies with OND - I am not sure if you qualify for BSc admission because to be eligible for BSc admission in Norway, you need to have upper secondary certificate (WAEC/NECO - at least 6 credits pass including Maths, English and a science subject) plus 1 year university studies. Lastly, if any of you is thinking of applying against autumn 2017, that person should perish the thought as most admission window has elapsed. But this does not apply to university of Stavanger since their admission window is still wide open till February or so. So you can check UiS out, see if you will find a program of interest and if you think you meet their requirements you can apply Stay blessed! 4 Likes |

Re: Free Schoolarship In Norway by Bandeco(m): 7:34am On Dec 15, 2016 |
Successjoy:It means that you must have completed atleast 100level /year one studies in a UNIVERSITY. This studies must be a study towards bachelor degree. This study can be evidenced by your (100 level) transcript. Germany also accepts HND holders for BSc admission but I am not sure if Norway accepts this (HND) too- as it is not expressly stated in the GSU-country list 2 Likes |

Lists of free tuition university in norway. 1. Norwegian university of science and technology. Visit d school website n get to know how to apply. Application fees may be included. 2. Oslo and akershu university college of applied science, the only thing u need to pay is the semester fee which is NOK660 per semester. 3. One thing people don't understand about studying in tuition free countries is that the standard of living is kinda obnoxious. E.g Norway,Germany and public universities in some Scandinavian nations. So before you apply, have it in mind that what you may spend annually is much more than you expected. |
Re: Free Schoolarship In Norway by whizfache(m): 1:44pm On Dec 27, 2016 |
Thats true bro, norway tuition is low as 23,000 naira when converted to naira but the living expenses is very high, for a year one most hold atleast close to 1.5 million naira to live a normal life but all d way norway is a great country, jobs are in norway for students, atleast it will reduce d load DAVECENA: |
Re: Free Schoolarship In Norway by Bandeco(m): 3:24pm On Dec 27, 2016 |
DAVECENA:I guess u wanted to mean COST OF LIVING. You are not the first Nigeria I came across miswriting standard of living when they want to mean how expensive the country is to live in - COST OF LIVING . They are two different meaning. Don't know why (Nigeria) people misuse it. Laughable tho BTW the 2 Likes |

whizfache:Norwegian public universities don't charge tuition fees. I guess the amount you stated is student government contribution. whizfache:Agree. whizfache:It is actually more than that even for students. As of today students need to document 3.8million naira as living expenses for 1year. Non-students need times two of this to be granted a resident permit to seek employment. whizfache:I agree 100%. The best country in Europe in my opinion. Probably only Switzerland could rival Norway. Unemployment is the lowest, salaries are amazing in a way that the most menial of jobs could afford u a comfortable living. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Funny enough, you need only #2.5M to study in Germany to prove you won't turn out to be a liability to the govt. 1 Like |
