Is it letter or affidavit of sponsorship? Who witness the affidavit? Follow what michv said by building the account statement of sponsor. Present ur birth certificate and ur brother birth certificate. Pay ur tuition fee. xyoung: 3 Likes |

Any good news in the house tonight? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 7:50pm On Dec 08, 2016 |
Abolergy:There are 2 ways to this; its either you just go ahead and defer your admission now or you wait till CIC requests another offer letter... In any case... except your decision comes out before the 12th (payment due date) it may be wiser to defer now when you still can! Cos waiting may cost you the hard earned admission if you don't address immediately. Regards. 1 Like |

A four-year undergraduate degree, or equivalent, from a recognized college or university in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (U of S grade system equivalent) in the last two years of study (e.g. 60 credit units) Proof of English language proficiency may be required for international applicants and for applicants whose first language is not English The above is what i got from the University Of Saskatchewan. I really someone help to analyse the second and third paragraph. Also, i saw that the school fee was pitched at $1950/Term for international students. Ideally, there are three terms so thats mulitplied by the above which should give about 5K plus. Now, is this CAD? or USD? Whats the rate biko? 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Riddeek: 9:21pm On Dec 08, 2016 |
Abduletudaye:the third point means that you need a minimum of 3.5/5.0 (70%) in ur last 2 yrs to make you admissible, i hope your cgpa is way above that Forget abt the fourth point, uni of Saskatchewan recognizes Nigeria as an English-speaking nation so you don't have to waste your money on any TOEFL/IELTS test Fees are in CAD, never mind that they use the conventional USD symbol, that was something i had a hard time getting accustomed to. i think the current rate is 250NGN = 1CAD (not too certain) Disclaimer: i am not a student in the above mentioned sch, i have not even applied to any sch, all answers are based on my research on the sch. 1 Like 1 Share |

Mikymiko:It was affidavit of sponsorship from a magistrate court in Edo state. But instead of building my sponsor account, can't I build my account instead with all these money totalling 4 million and declare myself self sponsor? Cos I don't know where my brother will get extra millions despite his own family duties. I mean I intend to build up my salary account to 4million with deposits and withdrawal and leave closing balance of 4 million after which I will now pay part tuition Copy: michV 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 6:36am On Dec 09, 2016 |
xyoung:bro lemme categorically tell you why self-sponsor wouldn't work for your case as you have stated above. Depending on how much you earn monthly,if you go for self sponsor and your study duration is 2yrs,you will have to show sufficient funds in total by ''statement of acct'' to cover your tuition, upkeep and maintenance, and transporting yourself to and fro canada for your ENTIRE duration. this is because if approved TRV,you ll no longer be working for 2yrs,so the VO requires to see the funds available in bank account for your 2yrs stay than the assumed at least 1yr since no income is coming to your account.Using a sponsor is better because the person has to show funds at least 1year to cover all expenses required since the person is an income earner. With the flows in the account, the VO assumes that the 2nd year of your program will be well taken care of. But if you are going for self-sponsor and your program is 1YR,make sure you have all the funds available for the entire 1YR. Depending on how much you earn monthly, you might have to explain further to the VO how you accumulated for example N7-8m within a short-while. The issue of funds need critical thinking which is a major vital angle to place priority during visa application. Another area is relationship with programs and also home ties/personal assets depending on the individual's profile 4 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by wealth360: 7:05am On Dec 09, 2016 |
xyoung: Thats the problem. to me the VO always looked at your sponsor dependents. your brother has children and he will pay their school fees and other responsibility. they always look at that angle too. Him standing as your sponsor he needs big money to stand as sponsor. hope i make sense house? Goodmorning all. TGIF and I wish all TRV hopeful success today. we must get good news before the end of today IJN ...Amen 8 Likes 1 Share |
