ostechno:Mr Oga, use Remainder Rule, Substitute x=1, -1, 2, -1, etc till u get 0 (Zero); Oya, If x=1, 1+27+64+10+8 If x=-1 1-27+64-10+8 Assuming u got 0 when x=k, den (x-k) is a factor Assuming u got 0 when x=-k, den (x+k) is a factor From there, all u need do is to divide that expression by your (x+k) or (x-k) After dividing, u will b left with a polynomial starting with d power of 3 (Note dat there will b no remainder since (x+k) or (x-K) is a factor) Repeat d step again from Substitute x=1, -1, 2, -1, etc till u get 0 (Zero); Assuming u got 0 when x=k, den (x-k) is a factor Assuming u got 0 when x=-k, den (x+k) is a factor From there, all u need do is to divide that expression by your (x+k) or (x-k) After dividing, u will b left with a polynomial starting with d power of 2 (Note dat there will b no remainder since (x+k) or (x-K) is a factor) Then u can solve d rest (Quadratic Equation) like we were taught in secondary school...
