I wrote at Huntsville Tech, Anthony.. Slated for 10:30 but we didn't write until 12:30...the test was inbetween; not too difficult but not simple either. Business maths was basically Ratio, SI, CI, percentage profit, loss, difference, increase, decrease, but me ooo I skipped most of the questions because the numbers were either to large to multiply or difficult to divide. General knowledge was tricky cos they were asking questions I don't know e.g Governor of Adamawa...the rest was a breeze... But try to be accurate and fast... Leave any question you don't know instead of doing tombo tombo...Wish us the best in all, may the odds be in our favor

It's really unfortunate that they couldn't get a centre for Abuja. I sincerely don't know why. We can get to jos and return the same day anyway..
Bellamakeovers:
Am just thinking of how to make it to Jos that morning from Abuja and still make it back to Abuja. Why didn't they get an Abuja center for the test?
Re: 2016 Firstbank Graduate Trainee Programme by DarkHenrie(m): 5:35pm On Dec 10, 2016
Perhaps you should try changing again? That's if you really want to write the test anyway..
Olamilekan08:
I decided to change my location to Plateau which is closer to my location here in Benue, lo and behold the time was slated for 10th of December at 5.30 pm roughly 2 hours to the test from the change!
I'm very confused as I thought the whole of the test will take place simultaneously in all centers on the 13th and that I won't even be able to change my location 24hours before the test as the email sent to me insinuated.
I just hope I haven't lost this .

Halima2015:

YES.... my first question was a table with 4 to 5 questions under it but couldn't solve them because the numbers were large. I wasted a lot of time on that table only to discover the remaining questions were simple/ basic maths but I had little time left so please don't waste too much time on a question that is seeming hard to solve, just move to the next. Success to those who haven't written theirs.

I have a few questions?
1) Is it that you guys did not have calculator or calculator was not allowed?
2) @Halima Did the other questions of business maths also have Pie Charts, graphs etc
3) Was the verbal answers true, false, cannot say OR to pick two corrects answers from after reading the comprehension passage
4) Was there no abstract/spatial reasoning?
5) Were you all able to complete the test in the stipulated time?

I am also puzzled because I know they could have done the test in Abuja @ Chams city near Transcorp. Dragnet uses this venue all the time, dont know why they didnt use it this time around.

Well I wrote today and the verbal reaoning was comprehension passage that you will be given 4 or 5 questions for each passage, then the business maths was mainly %, ratio, average and chart ( mine was pie chart and each sector was with degree like 28.4 etc so I only guessed), the analytical was like All shrubs are tree; Some trees are flowers choose the facts etc and the general were majorly about our country and the financial sector E.g who is the governor of Enugu state, When did Nigeria join OPEC, when was 10 note introduced, In 2012 GEJ increased fuel price from 65 to ....
I wish all of us God's divine favour.

I see that you guys are dealing out the questions out of solidarity. What foolishness! later, when they score higher marks and are selected and you guys are not, you begin to blame it on nepotism and village witches. whether you agree with me or not, this is a competition and not a fun fair. Be wise and accept this unpleasant truth.
