TheGoodJoe: If you want to defend a poor performance no problem but trying to lay the blame on the referee is bollocks. Top players don't need protection to perform.2011 against Madrid In the Champions League Messi was kicked about, without the protection of the referee Messi scored an individual goal. Football is a physical game. Nacho,Navas,Bravo,Stones,Sagna,Fernando were poor, Iheanacho was anonimous. If you say otherwise tell me one Exceptional thing he did? 2 Likes |

princesuko: Do you know how many fouls Messi gets in most games he plays? If the Referee does not protect him, no Ballon d’Or. Fact. I hate people defending wrong with Football is a physical game. Did you watch Fernando win the ball clearly and the referee gave him a yellow card? What of the unfair tackle on Iheanacho? There is no way the referee and lines man did not see that. The tackle was even from behind. Please, football is a physical game but not full contact like kickboxing or karate. |

Tyronne Ebuehi score an own goal playing against Awoniyi's club. Taiwo didn't play. |

BascoVanVeli: What is beat the crap? They had a good strategy but we were all over them. It was a brilliant thought out plan by the manager but City dominated the game well. We had a clear handball from a long shot. There was no way the referee missed that. The Leicester City players fouled City repeatedly in the box. It was free for them. They were sure the officials will not blow against them. That is poor officiating and brought sour to the game. Did you see the foul on Iheanacho? I guess you also missed the dominant display before the two goals we scored. |

TheGoodJoe: U should not focus on the ref so much, man city were man handled. I think i'm still in a state of shock from that match. |

princesuko: Please, read back my post. I highlighted Iheanacho's performance. How did you not see one thing? Maybe you are from Ghana. Yara Yara I spotted a Ghana man here. Catch him. |

TheGoodJoe:For £50m, I would expect more from Stones. Lots of defenders who cost 1/4 of his transfer fee are miles better than him. Virjil Van Dijk and Mustafi transfer fee put together won't buy Jon stones. Its ridiculous. |

If Man city had 3 Agueros today, they will still loose scandalously.
The problem is their backline. 2 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: No need Having a conversation with you if you call that a fact I seem to be missing something where was the kickboxing happening? Only Mike dean would give that as a penalty. If you call this Kickboxing what was the Aguero tackle on Luiz? Let me ask you POINT BLANK did Nacho have a good or bad Game.? YES or No? 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: I will focus on clear officiating. It is discussions like these that have left such blatant poor officiating leave this long. How does a player get a yellow card for winning a tackle? How does a clear hand ball from a long shot not mean a penalty? How does Iheanacho get blatantly kicked off the ground by Albrighton and that is not a penalty? Navas get cleared by Albrighton and the referee did not card him. Repeated fouls in the box and the referee let it stand. The officiating was terrible and took away City's fighting chance. There is no way we should not focus on the referee when he is clearly bias. |

princesuko: Iheanacho had a good game. There I no way you can say he had a poor game when he did not have good service. He made the most of the situation. Created a clear scoring opportunity for Gundogan, won a clear penalty that was denied. The question is, how did you not see any of these and asked for one thing. What of the clear build-up plays by Nacho when he dropped deep? So, which if these did you see? Yara Yara, bring my Bullet proof vest. Someone is shooting point blank. |

goldfish80: I think is time we stopped judging players by prize tags. If not, Sterling is Figo and Pogba is teaching Zidane how to juggle ball. Stones is still a young player. He needs time to horn his skills. Unfortunately, City does not have that time. Lots of defenders will cost less but unfortunately, we have the English rules that force clubs to spend big money on Cahill and Sterling. |

TheGoodJoe: The match was over in the 1st half. Defence was F-9, u can't blame me for leaving with Iheanacho abeg the thing vex me die. I saw the foul but it was 3-0 then i think. |

princesuko: Aguero saw a red for his tackle. That I what I expect. The question is, why did Luiz remain on the pitch after he barged Aguero who was through on goal. That is the problem. Bias officiating. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:17pm On Dec 10, 2016 |
BascoVanVeli: The match was not over. Yes, there was a slim chance but not over. The Iheanacho tackle would make it 3-1. What of the clear handball from a long range shot? We still scored two, despite the referee waving off repeated fouls in the box on City. Be fair man, be fair. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by princesuko(m): 11:19pm On Dec 10, 2016 |
TheGoodJoe: Kelechi Iheanacho 5 - Contributed hardly anything. Missed a glaring opportunity by failing to get his head to the ball six yards out and was hooked soon after. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4020686/Leicester-4-2-Man-City-PLAYER-RATINGS-Vardy-s-party-Bravo-Stones-suffer.html Kelechi Iheanacho 4- was a poor replacement for the Argentine, replaced after 58 minutes by Yaya Toure who was an unlikely central striker for the last half an hour of the game --- Telegraph Iheanacho Wasn't given the best of service, but he was simply eaten up by the big centre backs. The one time he escaped, he was marginally offside - and shot straight at the keeper in any case. You suspect Aguero would have been no better in this team. 3 http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/man-city-player-ratings-leicester-12302238 I think i will trust the Opinions of expert. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by BascoVanVeli(m): 11:22pm On Dec 10, 2016 |
princesuko: He was offside and still couldn't reach it, the cross was not perfect. The team was weak minded and got shell shocked. They forgot how to play football. |

princesuko: U sef don't dwell on one piece of his comment, he might be using kickboxing losely. That was a foul and penalty. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by princesuko(m): 11:26pm On Dec 10, 2016 |
BascoVanVeli: No question, City were poor but i just don't like how guys say Nacho had a good game. They were all poor bar Nolito who i thought should have started. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:26pm On Dec 10, 2016 |
princesuko: Do you have an idea what you are arguing? I doubt you do. There were clear fouls on Iheanacho. No warning of the defender. That protects the attacker. If the player does it again, Penalty. (Not Red Card) The tackle in the box on Iheanacho was a clear penalty. I did not say red card. The red card scenario I talked about was David Luiz badging Aguero who was through on goal. The referee blew a foul but failed to send Luiz off. That is bias officiating. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:29pm On Dec 10, 2016 |
princesuko: You can trust the experts who failed to talk about the clear penalty in the box against Iheanacho. The failed to pickup the build up plays or the brilliant passes to the wings. When you find an expert that points to the Iheanacho penalty call that left him in agony on the field let me know. Even the EPL studios refused to talk about City penalty calls at half time. That will tell you everything. Find an expert that talks about the penalty call. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by goldfish80(m): 11:31pm On Dec 10, 2016 |
TheGoodJoe:Prize tag matters. For £50m, you should be buying a world class Pro not a guy learning the ropes. It's like buying a Ferrari for $50k with a keke napep engine. Of course you will find a way to justify his price tag, a few months ago you said he's worth the price tag because he had over 90% pass accuracy against Sunderland. Like passing is all there is to football. Nothing else matters apart from passing right? Lol lol |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:32pm On Dec 10, 2016 |
princesuko: Nacho was bullied and the referee did not protect him. Even after a brilliant run and Albrighton took him out. A clear penalty, you can still say poor. Did you see his pass to Gundogan? Did you see his two touch control? Next time, do not wear sunglasses when watching football match. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:36pm On Dec 10, 2016 |
goldfish80: I did not say he I worth the price tag. After the errors Stones made at Everton and the constant criticisms, it is ridiculous to tag him a 50 mil player. The price tag is that high because he is English. Same thing goes to Sterling. However, no one denies Stones brilliance on the ball. Even in today's game, he made brilliant runs and passes. He is a Bright talent, lots of potential but not a 50 mil player. And, passing matters a lot. Especially when it comes to the style City plays. Someone Like You should know that. |

princesuko:Guy the whole team was poor, you don't single out a player, let's see the whole City players rating, I bet you none will be above 5. So to single out Nacho as if he was the cause of the defeat is mischief cause 3 Aguero in that team today would've changed nothing. Nacho in the midst of King & Huth, ha! they for just give our boy 6months injury. 2 Likes |
