Before Rijkaard won the La Liga, Barca had gone 6 agonizing year's without any semblance of a trophy. 6 solid years. Barca didn't go a year without a trophy before Pep won his trophies.

Rijkaard's Barca was a very brilliant team with the best squad in it as at that time. The Team blew away opponents with ease. How can anyone forget Rijkaard's team? That team had it all. The best team at that time. United were no match for them. The only team that fought Barca fire for fire was Chelsea.
