What not to do during visa interview 1. Making a weak first impression 2. Avoiding eye contact 3. Saying too much 4. Not being through with supporting documentation 5. Appearing to be confident / too nervous 6.Not researching the university 7. Fail to rehearse. 9 Likes |

Hello house please I need response to this questions. First let me highlight some things... 1. I studied in India BSC Computer Science. 2. It is a three 3 year course. I know America only allows 4 year BSC for masters and more importantly I am not really interested in Masters. Please does anyone know of any institute or college that offers Postgraduate Certificate in computer course/ IT. I would really appreciate your responses and inputs. I saw some schools in Canada but Canadian visa application is very rigid and I would've preferred America please house. Thanks. |

iyobs7: Not impossible but much harder to get vis with your intending route. Indians usually do Master along with their bachelor to surmount this challenge. Are you sure there woun't be any school that will accept Indian's alone bachelor degree for Master Course? |

franki4them: Are you a US citizen or resident? If not, you need to tell your school who you're. As an international student, you have no business with fafsa. Simple. |

kogistar: If you earn from a site and wanted to cash out, you'd have to sell your money to exchangers and get the naira equivalent. Go to the business section. You'd understand better. |

imperiouxx: I Really don't understand why people refuse to accept simple english and yet keep talking as if all of this happens here in Nigeria. Read more on google about FAFSA but the school already know you are an international student before been referred there. I'm very sorry please, the guy was just 17yrs and keep disturbing me over FAFSA, I instructed him to write here with my account on Nairaland, have been over 5years and never comment. Anyways am sorry |

franki4them: You're talking about simple English like yours is even correct. (Read your previous posts, you'd understand). Smh Rather than thanking him for his help, you're firing him. Well done. What we are all trying to tell you is you don't qualify for FAFSA. If you need funds, apply for merit based scholarships with your test scores. Cheers. 2 Likes 1 Share |

franki4them:guy calm down , its normal for them to refer u, there it happens in two ways . its either its after u submit your application n all .dey refer u to d page regardless its for u to read further n see u don't qualify ... another is most of these advisors just copy n paste d requirements dey send to students so dey will just put it there, all u do is to read all n u just pick d ones that belong to u as an international student 3 Likes |

franki4them: What the hell? If the definition of fafsa is posted in a very simple English on Google, then what the hell are you doing here asking dumb questions? Does the fafsa website you visited redirect you to US thread on nairaland? You better take your unruly behavior far from me before I start ripping into you. I can't even understand the crap you posted. And is this the kind of generation of student coming from Nigeria. FYI: if a school referred you to fafsa and you're not so dumb, you would know that one of the fs stands for federal and as an international student you're not eligible for US government loans, funding or public assistance. 7 Likes 1 Share |
