And Buhari is closing his eyes to all this?. You are not paying these ladies who brought glory to Nigeria and you are not also punishing officials responsible for dragging country's name into mud. What a president?

This is really sad and thoroughly disgraceful.

A country that will not take care her heroes is doomed. Where would the country raise such talents again if these and other young women decides to shun any call up next time?

The Sports ministry and by extension, the NFF has been owing coaches and athletes over the years. A case in point was the late Stephen Keshi and Amodu Shuaibu. They were owed till their death. With respect, the Sports Minister did not do his office a lot of good when he told the whole world that they never expected them to win. That was a very unfortunate comment.

If this could happen to a winning team, imagine how bronze or silver winning teams have been treated in the past. So appalling and pathetic.

The Super Falcons should stay put in the hotel! It's no retreat no surrender! It's the height of insensitivity and insincerity on the part of the FG, Sport Ministry and NFF to openly charge the girls to win the coveted trophy and to basked in the joy/achievement of the victory - then refused to pay the girls who laid down their lives to achieved the feat.

Corruption fighting isn't only the prevention of illegal use of office, it's also denying honest citizens of their rights!

I have never seen a country like this. Cameroon that came second were hosted by their president but ours that came first has not even receive their allowance. This is what GEJ never joked with. Now the difference is clear.

The Cameroonian team that came second was hosted by their president and the first lady and all their allowances and bonuses completely paid. And we are here smelling our asses because we didn't expect them to win - after having won the trophy SEVEN times.
Who the hell is in charge of this country?
