My dear friends am asking this question on behalf of a close family friend. They married for 16 years without a child, during this years they adopted a son whom they have lived with all their lives but they had their son 8 years ago, most times they tend to give him priority or preference in education and other needs because of this the adopted son kept asking her why he’s not being given the attention he deserves. She feels she should tell him the truth, at the same time she would not like to hurt anyone. She came to me for advice and I think this is the best place to receive the best guidance on what to do. Am expecting our answers as soon as possible.

8 year old cannot handle such issue, you will end up damaging him psychologically and leaving him with a lifetime low self esteem.

Love him and raise him as your own, when he is done with University ie above 22,you can tell him

She's already discriminating against him and plans to tell him it's because he's not her son. The woman is stupid. And the husband too. How sure are they that their real son will be of greater benefit to them in future? God will bless the neglected son over their own. undecided
