But you see, you can't compare the Nigerians to the Chinese. The Chinese investment is visible. We see it. They're the contractors of the ongoing SGR construction in Kenya (the consulting engineers are Kenyan). They're constructing some of the highest buildings in Africa in Nairobi (a 46 floor tower, a 35 floor tower and several twenty something floor towers). etc. Their investment is visible so I would believe them when they say the few deported ones are just a few rotten apples (though you won't even hear them say that). Enter Nigerians - you're here illegally, doing shitty pawn drug peddling, living in shitty conditions most of the time with no single visible Nigerian investment yet you're the loudest at proclaiming how you own us.

Again Chinese aren't deported in Kenya as much as Nigerians and China is way bigger than Nigeria.

you see what i am saying, please can you provide any details in regards to the ongoing construction of any skyscrapers owned by a black Kenyans?you guys will always remain slaves to Indians, Somalis ,Chinese, whites and Nigerians, the reason why you r scared of Nigerians is because you know that Nigerians would take over the economy from your slave masters and you don't want that .. :'(

Yet when another African countries dies that you say they worship the white man. Such hypocrisy.

Face it, no excuse you can give to show that Kenyans completely lack a developed culture like Nigeria & Ethiopia.

Nigeria is a very big and diverse country unlike small Kenya.
In the far north, ability to read and write in hausa and arabic can get u some jobs. The govt just wants to take everyone along and avoid tribal issues that why they try to appear neutral at the federal govt level, but the individual states in the north use hausa as their co-offficial state language with English.
Hausa language has about 150million speakers in 5 different countries. Swahili is not even a native Kenyan language developed by Kenyans. Tanzania owns it and u guys borrowed it from them.

Tanzanians have a far more beautiful culture and beautiful people than Kenya. Their music is far better too.
Tanzanians and Ethiopians rep East Africa far better than Kenya. Kenyans have no culture other than drinking animal blood. LoL

Did i say Seoul was the best city??

Also did you read and comprehend my post?? Infrastructure is not only found in Cities!! You need proper infrastructure/Logistics in rural areas as well!! hence the fact we have the 10th longest roadway coverage in the world and 9th longest railway coverage in the world!!

Lastly OR Thambo,King Shaka and Cape Town International have all been rated as the best airports in their respective categories at one stage, with all three being in the top5 currently in their respective categories.

Also i didn't see South Korea making you're top11 list either so how is that source relevant to this discussion ?

What is the meaning of 'JUST' Seoul, ehn?

The infrastructures found South Korea rural areas are better than some cities in South Africa. grin

Why is South Africa ranked the 10th longest roadway coverage in the world ahead of South Korea? It is very simple. It is because South Africa landmass is 10 times or more than South Korea. The same applies to railway coverage.

It doesn't mean South Africa is better or ahead of South Korea in terms of road and railway infrastructures.

South Korea railway station connects all rural and urban areas in South Korea with better and faster trains than that of South Africa. grin

12 lanes express ways connected to every major cities and towns.

South Korea airport is the second best in the world. Where is South Africa airport? grin

http://www.businessinsider.com/best-airports-in-the-world-2016-skytrax-2016-4

If you talk about Seaports, South Korea seaports is more busier than South Africa.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_busiest_container_ports

South Korea has one of the biggest Seaports in the world.

When it comes infrastructures in transportation, South Korea is not in the same lower league with South Africa.. grin

[quote author=jln115 post=51961077]
According to the Worldbank it is!! South Korea is more than just Seoul...you need working logistic platforms in rural areas as well, hence the fact we have the 10th longest roadway coverage in the world!![/quot]

Looking at both maps of railway system in both countries, which is more developed?

We are not talking about 6 cities in South Korea with subway stations. grin

Dude,........the Banks you're listing hardly have any customer in Kenya. The average Kenyan doesn't even know them. Stop fooling yourself.....and Dangote doesn't have any business in Kenya. He wanted to set up a cement plant in Kitui but chickened off due to competition - he went ahead and set the plants in Ethiopia and Tanzania which are getting closed btw due to competition. See, your so called "billionaires" are simply well connected people in Nigeria who get government tenders and subsidies easily that fuel them to wealthy status. When they come to East Africa where they have to work their asses off like anyone else they start complaining oh the government is harassing them and after a few months they leave.

About the Somali and Nigerian being harassed by the police - dude, they are not harassed because they have more money - they're harassed because most of them are here illegally and would do anything to remain here than go back to their shitty countries. These are people who can withdraw ALL their bank savings to bribe a cop. A normal Kenyan would never do that. Same way a cop in the US is more likely to harass a Nigerian immigrant than an American or German immigrant. Nigerians and Somalis aren't even anywhere close to the richest immigrants in Kenya - see, the rich Somalis are simply corrupt people from Somalia who's best destination of investment is Kenya since Somalia is in a mess at the moment. Most others are poor refugees who'd do anything to remain in Kenya. For Nigeria it's even laughable to call you guys rich here. You're the only people who travel over 3000km to come to Kenya to live in low class neighborhoods. People who migrate over such distances normally live in posh neighborhoods.

funny dude, so the richest people are then your Indians slaves masters ?,plus , how can Nigerians resides in Kenya illegally when the visa can be gotten at point of entries grin and can renewed with only 50USD ?, I swear to God u guys are daft!

A Nigerian who was deported from Kenya twice for drug trafficking was arrested again in Nairobi on Wednesday.

Emmanuel Inobemhe was arrested in Obama estate, Kayole, after a tip off from members of the public.

Area police boss Ali Nuno said Inobemhe had been deported for drug-related issues but could not explain how he sneaked back.

The Nigerian has been handed over to the Anti-Terror Police Unit for interrogation.

This followed claims he has been in touch with suspects on the police radar for terror-related activities.

Inobemhe was arrested in Nairobi’s Donholm estate in September 2013, four months after his first deportation,

He and a woman named Virginia Wangeci were allegedly found with 425 sachets of heroin with a market value of Sh85,000.

The foreigner had been deported in June 2013 with Anthony Chinedu over drug trafficking claims.
That's definitely not up to 100 talk less of daily...(your exaggeration).

They are working for you politicians and some wealthy citizens that's why you hardly Jail them, you deport and the same politicians sneak them back into your country.....

List of planned cities

This is a list of planned cities (sometimes known as planned communities or new towns) by country. Additions to this list should be cities whose overall form (as opposed to individual neighborhoods or expansions) has been determined in large part in advance on a drawing board, or which were planned to a degree which is unusual for their time and place.

This guy is delusional. The Nigerians he calls rich are the only people who travel over 3000km to come to Kenya to live in a low class neighborhood such as Umoja. When a S African travels to Kenya, he rents in a posh neighborhood, when a Kenyan travels to Say, he rents in a posh neighborhood. When a Ghanaian travels to Kenya, he rents in a posh neighborhood. When a Kenyan travels to Ghana, he rents in a posh neighborhood.

See, when I was in campus I wanted to go independent. My family lived in Langata but I wanted to stay alone and learn to be responsible. I would rent a one bedroom apartment in Umoja during the long holidays - the rent was 12k and I could foot it doing small jobs university students do. Interestingly my neighbors were Nigerian "businessmen" who had travelled all the way from Naija to Kenya to do business. Every month their number increased. I couldn't understand how so many people can travel all that distance to come and live a very shitty lifestyle here - see it's easier to live a hard life in your own country. Couldn't these guys just manage to rent a spacious 4 bedroom apartment in Kilimani or Kileleshwa if they pooled their resources together? When I come here and see some ignorant peeps claim these are the people who own Kenya I just lose faith in the Negroid race.

That's why u see so much Arabic and Indian influence in Swahili language and Tanzanian culture.

Our biggest mall is being developed by Centum Investment. They contracted Chinese contractors who saw how big the investment was and decided to buy some shares from the owners. The SGR is being constructed by the Chinese but fully owned by the Kenyan government. The UAP tower is owned by UAP Kenya, Britam Tower is owned by Britam Kenya. Nigeria has the highest numbers of planned communities in Africa. grin

They said Lagos is shiiti but the same Lagos has more planned areas than Nairobi and Kenya combined. Bhuuuhah! grin

A planned community, or planned city, is any community that was carefully planned from its inception and is typically constructed in a previously undeveloped area. This contrasts with settlements that evolve in a more ad hoc fashion. Land use conflicts are less frequent in these communities. The term new town refers to planned communities of the new towns movement in particular, mainly in the United Kingdom. It was also common in the European colonization of the Americas to build according to a plan either on fresh ground or on the ruins of earlier Native American cities.

Planned capital cities

Inner Canberra, Australia.
Several of the world's capital cities are planned cities, including Canberra in Australia, Brasília in Brazil, Belmopan in Belize, New Delhi in India, Valletta in Malta, Abuja in Nigeria, Astana in Kazakhstan, Naypyidaw in Burma, Islamabad in Pakistan, Ankara in Turkey and Washington, D.C., in the United States. In Egypt, a new capital city east of Cairo has been proposed. The federal administrative centre of Malaysia, Putrajaya, is also a planned city.

Abu Dhabi (UAE) and some of the recently built cities in the Persian Gulf region are also planned cities, built on the money from the oil boom. Prior to the boom, these were just villages or towns.

Africa

Botswana
The city of Gaborone was planned and constructed in the 1960s.[2]

Equatorial Guinea
In 2012, President Teodoro Obiang decided to move the capital to a new jungle site at Oyala.[3]

Kenya
Konza Technology City is a planned city that is hoped to become a hub of African science and technology upon its completion in 2030.[4]

Nigeria
The capital, Abuja, is a planned city and was built mainly in the 1980s.[5] Several other cities are under development to accommodate the rapidly growing population, some of which include: Eko Atlantic City, a planned city of Lagos State being constructed on land reclaimed from the Atlantic Ocean. Upon completion, the new city which is still under development is anticipating 250,000 residents and a daily flow of 150,000 commuters.[6] Centenary City, in the Federal Capital Territory, is another planned smart city under development. The city is designed to become a major tourist attraction to the country.[7] A list of Nigerian cities and neighbourhoods that went through a form of planning are as follows:

Abuja, one of the most populous planned cities, and the fastest growing city in the world.
Banana Island, an affluent neighbourhood in Ikoyi, Lagos, Lagos State
Bonny Island in Rivers State
Centenary City in the Federal Capital Territory
Eko Atlantic in Lagos State
Festac Town in Lagos, Lagos State
FESTAC Phase 2, the next phase for Festac has been proposed.[8]

A number of cities were set up during the apartheid-era for a variety of ethnic groups. Planned settlements set up for white inhabitants included Welkom, Sasolburg and Secunda. Additionally the majority of settlements in South Africa were planned in their early stages and the original town centres still lie in a grid street fashion. Some settlements were also set up for non whites such as the former homeland capital of Bhisho.[citation needed.

Give Nigerian business man
Antony Chinedu what
belongs to him

NAIROBI,KENYA: That Antony Chinedu, the
controversial drug trafficker suspect has
been deported back to Nigeria while he
has cases in court regarding the same
leaves a lot to be desired. That he was
abruptly deported without the Nigerian
High Commission in Nairobi being
informed is even more absurd.
And that he was deported while still
having a case in court regarding his
alleged Shs400 million property in Nairobi
leaves many questions answered.
It appears there is more than meets the
eye. Because we as Kenyans know how
things work in Kenya: money first, others
follow.
Whether Chinedu was a drug-trafficker or
not is not the point here. If he is indeed a
trafficker, he deserves to be deported.
But as Nigerian authorities rightly put it,
the right procedures should be followed.
That is why they are right to ground the
aircraft and its officials. For we wouldn't
wish our citizens to be treated the same
way unprocedurely while in Nigeria.
Nigeria is a good business partner in our
economy especially the Kenya Airways and
diplomatic issues must be handled
cautiously.
Even this is a family issue, videos of
wrangles with his estranged wife
throwing chairs and cups at him as police
watched under full glare of TV cameras in
previous episodes amount to bullying and
intimidation; perhaps because he is a
foreigner. Even foreigners deserve police
protection.
The rule of international law says that he
who commits a criminal offence should
be charged in a court of law in the host
country and be deported after serving a
given sentence, if that is so decided.
Chinedu has lived in Kenya for 18 years,
married a Kenyan woman and has
children. These children will need to
see their dad, it is their right. And Chinedu
may need to be visiting them at some
point as their father, even if he is
divorced.
From media reports, Chinedu claims that
he has property worth Shs400 million. If
this is true, then there is no question, he
deserves at least a share of that property
by law. Chinedu argues that he was
deported because his wife and other
associates want to possess his property.
If that is true, then the Nigerian
authorities must have considered this as
unfair. That is why they have grounded
the aircraft. For it's immoral to deport
someone, even if a criminal, with the
intention of getting his property. No
wonder it was recently reported that a
woman from Central Kenya had hired
goons to kill her husband so she can own
all her properties while others use
pangas.
If Chinedu is a criminal, arrest him and
charge him in court and if guilty sentence
him at Kamiti Maximum Security Prison.
Anyone with two eyes can just sense that
this is a scheme behind the scenes to get
Chinedu's property through the back door
by some powerful forces.
Give Chinedu what he owns and then
deport him or charge him in court and if
guilty he will serve his sentence. If not,
then it is robbery without violence.

ianSweet:

Everyone knows that Swahili originated at the Tanzanian coasts and Zanzibar axis when African speakers tried to communicate/intermix with Arab, Iranian and Indian speakers along the coastlines. Are u now trying to steal Swahili language origin from Tanzanians?

That's why u see so much Arabic and Indian influence in Swahili language and Tanzanian culture.
I listen to some Bongo and Taarab Tanzanian musics. I love the way they sing. I like Tanzanians, they are much more friendly, civilized and beautiful than u ugly animal blood drinking Kenyans with no culture and low self esteem always trying to compare yourselves with others to make u feel better.

Nigerians really seem to flow better with Tanzanians and Ethiopians, but never blood drinking Kenyans...

Lol.......I like the way you've been trying to woo every other Africans by pitting them against Kenyans. Lol......I hope they've heard your cries now.

Please..... read the history of Swahili well. You're making a fool of yourself. I could have educated you but I can't stand the thickness you peeps have on this forum.
