4kings: I mean if you look at it , its more rejection of personal gods . A typical atheist argument will always impugn the belief in a personal god . That's why anytime they are on the precipice of getting anything bad , they claim there is no God . Its all emotions . Pay close attention bro , the typical atheist belief resolves around religion and personal gods . They attack faith , prayer , worship with the belief that this somehow impugns the existence of God . Very small minded folks . They are repulsed by deism . Deism is too intellectual to stand against . Have you seen them outwit oga DeepSight before ? There is no religious belief to mock or ridicule or fall back to . Its strictly logic . Pure logic . Even 'smart pants' like Teempakguy started floundering . I was aghast at the egregiousness of his reasoning that day 2 Likes 1 Share |

KingEbukasBlog:You don't learn and when I raise points to which you don't have a response, you disappear into thin air U are focusing on the Christians who have money and ignoring the fact that Christianity is the most widely practiced religion in the world U also ignore the fact that the poorest countries are Christian dominated, in fact Christians make up the bulk of the population starving to death. . in Zambia for example, which BTW is about 95% Christianity and has Christianity as it's official religion, human beings, Christians are competing with monkeys and baboons for nuts in order not to starve to death. .. These are people told by their god not to worry that he will provide for them. |

randomperson: Christianity is a 'religion' of love . There are so many Christian organisations in poor countries helping these poor people - trying to provide respite to the adversity they face . There are so many Christians who have pledged to help the poor through out their lives . That is what Christ preached . Help the poor . Don't let the rich oppress the poor Those in prison visit them Love even your enemies and do good to them who hate you I read on DailyMail yesterday or so about kids who burned down a G -Wagon and flushed down a Rolex watch - total price is 88K pounds - while people can't find food to eat If you have money to waste , why not give to charity and fund those Christian organizations in these poor countries . Christ commanded us to do these things . |

Re: Religion: An Illusion That Works Well by randomperson: 4:17pm On Dec 16, 2016 |
KingEbukasBlog:Argh! No, don't digress from the issues... Christ said he will provide for them but they are starving to death... Are Christians trying to give to charity? Of course, but so are atheists and irreligious people... Bill Gates who said he doesn't know if God exists has given over $28 billion to charity. Mark Zuckerberg has committed himself to funding medical research... Meanwhile, ur churches are busy building edifices ... My local church bought a keyboard of over 200,000 naira and that was five years ago Don't bring your digressions, Christians are starving to death and your god would rather punish gay people |

KingEbukasBlog: False. In REALITY many have found meaning and purpose in their lives without believing in any God or by believing in other Gods different from the Jewish version of God. Because if you look at subsequent verses the preacher attempted finding meaning to life through discovery , wisdom , alcohol , different philosophies , architecture , luxurious life , personal pleasure , unbridled lusts , riches and glory etc . Many people do not believe in any God's judgment. And their lives have very good meaning to them. In your opinion and the opinion of those that subscribe to the idea of the Jewish God that has been laid out without God your life is meaningless but in reality it is different. And this is from the wisest man known in History - Solomon had written over 3000 Proverbs . Solomon is not the wisest man known in history. In Jewish mythology he was the wisest man. In reality he wasn't. Solomon did not write the book of proverbs. 1 Like |

4kings: When you are in a communist country , you are expected to pledge allegiance to the Marxist-Leninist ideology as your nation's guiding principle - that means atheism is imposed . Belief in God is not tolerated especially in religion . So President Jose who may have been born with that atheist idea since Uruguay has been with communism for a long time before it ended just before he became president . I don't think he became an atheist from a personal choice , its more of his environment , his milieu that influenced him . The "God idea" in religion is not tolerated in communism . And there are communist parties that make being an atheist a prerequisite for becoming a member . He may believe in God privately but appears to be an atheist or declares to be one because of the country or politics in the country or rejection of religion in which the belief in God has been mistaken to be an integral part . That's why I said it is arguable . You dig ? 1 Like 1 Share |

damogul:No .. But I happen to read the news and as a person with a conscience, news that some people are starving to death is unforgettable for me |

KingEbukasBlog: A Nigerian President may have a dis -believe in God privately but appears to be a Christian or Muslim or declares to be one because of the country or politics in the country or general acceptance of religion in which the belief in God has been mistaken to be an integral part . NB: I am no atheist. |

randomperson: So you read the news. Do you per chance know how they arrived at this conclusion especially since you have never been to Gambia? Is it their suffering you only saw but you never asked HOW? or HOW DID THEY GET TO THAT POINT |
Re: Religion: An Illusion That Works Well by KingEbukasBlog(m): 4:29pm On Dec 16, 2016 |
randomperson: I answered your questions perfectly . Atheists are the ones starving to death in North Korea while their president revels in bacchanalian parties and coerces 13 yr old females into sexual servitude . Half of the country live in abject poverty . Half . Tufiakwa ! The same thing was in happening in China till they started permitting capitalism as a recourse . The country was bedeviled with hunger and poverty . 1 Like 1 Share |

Randomperson do you know that in the list of poorest countries in the world Zambia is 49 on that list (which is not a bad position). They are above these countries i will post below. But do you know why they have poverty in their land? I am not talking about the conclussion of the matter i am talking about how they arrived at that point since all you see is ZAMBIA AND CHRISTIANS. |
Re: Religion: An Illusion That Works Well by dalaman: 4:34pm On Dec 16, 2016 |
KingEbukasBlog: What is this nonsense. There are more theist than athiests in Uruguay. The politics of Uruguay has nothing to do with his atheism because Uruguay is a secular country that has a higher percentage of theist compared to athiest. It's better to keep quiet than go about insinuating falsehood and lies. The man said he's an athiests and that's all to it. |
