The guy in dreadlocks in the picture quoted up there is actually an in-law of mine who became paralysed as toddler due to polio in Nigeria. He is currently a celebrity and a TV star in the UK and was in the country identifying and raising awareness to those who unfortunately are having the same condition but are rendered helpless. Let's hope Nigerian skeptics will take a cue and come up with ideas on how to improve or alleviate the conditions of the needy.

Perharps the construction of that bridge is merely a means to get to a greater goal. E.g. So that the church can easily be accessed by prospective investors (church enthusiasts).

When would all the church leaders in Nigeria form a united front to raise money for the over 2 million refugees in the North-East?! That would be by far better than building massive physical structures in a country that is apparently in recession.

Nigeria and its mega church buildings. while its good to have mega church auditoria, emphasis should rather be on spiritual upliftment of members. also, churches should rather focus more on trying to improve on the welfare of members rather than trying to outdo each other in terms of who has the biggest building
