For those of us that live in Aba, we know how much of our time the traditional hold up at Railway along Aba/Owerri Road wastes on daily basis due to bad road. The good news is that all that is now history as The Gov of Abia state has had the road taken care off with deep drainage. view pics. Next update will be on the magical job being done by setraco at Faulks road, Aba.Thanks

I love the way Ikpeazu does roads with quality materials. Of course Setraco can't give you anything less. This is so mush opposed to Rochas who uses unknown contractors to execute jobs.

My only problem with Ikpeazu is that the projects are lasting for eternity. Aba/Owerri road was started since he assumed office and not very appreciable work has been done on it.

Aba is one of the best cities in terms of planning (done by Mbakwe), and the people has not done so badly in destroying the master plan, and they've been erecting solid beautiful houses to beautiful the city. All that is needed to make Aba glorious is well constructed drainages and tarring of the roads.

Yea; very commendable. I am not even from this state but when u see d truth, air it. my first visit to Aba was in sept 2014, on seeing how undiscribeably DIRTY/upside down Aba was then, I concluded that they were still in military regime (pre 1999). So now u know why I'm always happy about any developmental project in Aba.Thanks

Ikpeazu is trying, I like his intentions but I doubt if the state has money.Everybody in Aba wants him to build Portharcourt road but I keep telling them that d nature of construction required at ph rd will consume d entire Abia state budget for atleast 2 to 3 mnths.so my brother; I think d major problem d Gov is facing is funds. For Aba planning, deviants are already feeling it, I must show u guys pictorial update of what is going on at faulks road

waoh, at last.
Kudus to Ikpeazu I remember when he was campaigning telling those of us in MCC road Umuojima that if he win he will do the road, I don't believe him but he won and now the road is 100% complete, I love politicians that keep their promises God bless him.

Exactly; d problem is that some people who know nothing about governance in Abia state wont let him be, some even compare him with Rivers etc. I can tell u that Gov Ikpeazu is doing far better than my Oil rich state Gov

If I talk now, someone will mistake me for "Afonja". Abeg any person wey dey stay Aba and ply Osisioma to Park, make him come talk ohh.
I like Ikpeazu, but if he doesn't change T.A style of doing things, Ndi ngwa ga abu ya onu.
On another matter, where is Emeka Wogu? (Former Minister). I don't want to ask this same question regarding Okezie Ikpeazu in years to come.

Sometimes i wonder if you people that is commenting is really residing in Aba. For me Ikpeazu is a failure. Why showing us pix of less than 1km road that he just repaired. Just from abia poly to rail way. It is even one lane. The man is a failure. He started this project from june last year and yet he had not even completed the construction of drainages talk of the road . What we are even talking here is just from osisioma junction to park yet someone is commending this man. I pity your generations . Even though that T.A orji is a failure but if you have been to umuahia mostly NIMC side cbn side, you will know that T.A tried for his people.
Tell your governor to stop this media propaganda and start working . If he cannot rebuild aba , i doupt if anyone can do it in future . He is very very slow . Even the allocation that he generates from aba is enough to rebuild aba to a world class city. Afterall , mbakwe came from imo state and built the city within a short time . There are only three major entrances to aba which PH road and aba owerri road is among . If he wants to build aba , he should start from these three entrances . For now , no commendation for him as he is too slow in working .

If truly you are in Aba as claimed, you must know the gravity of traffic caused on daily basis by that your so called 1km road that you have not had many years before now. Again, in your own estimate, how much do you think it will cost to build ph rd? Or would you prefer the rd is started in deceit and never completed. can you also let us know how much in total enters Abia state monthly? The truth like I already wrote on a quote, Abia state felt no govt impact for 16yrs. Thanks

Thank you so much my brother. That stretch of road has been under construction since last year. If you venture near the drainages, you will notice they have started breaking up.

I seriously pity anyone that might fall inside cos the thickness of the slab on that drainage is so tiny, not even up to 3inches, the rod used is nothing to write home about. Anybody praising IKPEAZU for this shabby road is a mediocre.

Mediocres are already singing praises while the other side of the road is still yet to be asphalt-coated, from Osisioma to Brass junction, you will notice open drainages IKPEAZU abandoned, I wonder what he is even doing.

All these wayo praise singers, does it mean you guys are blind or what.

Tufiakwa!!!!!!

Its better the Governor builds a lasting legacy than doing shabby works and expect to be praised to high heavens for a work he is doing with tax payers money.

Please with all due respect, This thread is not for political noise, Take Note. No body is singing praises here, I created this topic as it affects me personally. I expressed my happiness, And also stated how Railway area of Aba/Owerri messes up my day & a whole lot of other people. If you had mentioned about the work being slow kind of, it would have been understandable to some extent. But for you to say the slab & rods used are below standard, you are an established liar.can you please show us such slab/rod in pictures, no imported pictures. And also, I m from south south, not in anyway related to anybody or govt of Abia state. Thanks
