For like the 20th time, Kemi Adeosun is not responsible for the economy in any way. The CBN is in charge of monetary policy which has been shambolic this year. The Ministry of budget and planning is responsible for budget formulation and progress monitoring. Is also responsible for planning budget projections and fiscal policy direction and implementation. All these have been shambolic this year.
The ministry of finance as we know it today is responsible just for disbursement of funds to the various ministries and tracking the disbursement. Also responsible for the customs and FIRS. Nothing more. If you're looking for scape goats for the economic turmoil this year, look in the direction of Udoma and Emefiele, in charge of Fiscal and monetary policy respectively. Kemi has done an excellent job tracking money release and disbursement and removing leakages. She set up the E-unit to reduce waste at the Federal level. She organised the budget support facility to help states pay salaries and improve accountability at the state level. Anyone calling for her removal is just ignorant and probably an illiterate that doesn't know the functions of the ministry she superintends.

SACK hell out of Fashola......Nigeria and Lagos is two diff things in term of management.

Does Nigeria have a Minister of Petroleum?

Well. D need for reshuffle is of immense importance so that we can Kickstart 2017 on a lighter note unlikunlike 2016 yr of suffering. Kayode fayemi should be moved to ministry of foreign affairs or education where he I'll deploy his skill of strategic planning. Solid mineral should be manned by a technocrat. Amaechi should be moved to Labour ministry to ensure due process. He is still causing problem everywhere because of the good relationship he share with pmb. The minister of budget and national planning should be removed and replaced with someone with good statistical knowledge. We need no prophet to tell us to shake off the current ministry of finance. I know this govt inherited a lot of problems. But there is so much confusion in adeosun. Pmb should be considering contacting Charles soludo by now. He is a home bread economist with vast knowledge of statistics. The ministry of power, housing and works should be splitter separately as it was before. Let us not confuse ourselves in the name of cutting cost.
