Sudden drop in libido(sex drive) is not unusual, but it is cause for concern. The usual causes are.......medical issues. drugs are notorious for lowering sex drive. Do you have someone to stoke your desire? Women for instance tend to have “responsive desire” which requires someone else to initiate sex more intensely(pre-intimacy) than many people are comfortable with. Are you keeping fit? Low fitness levels can affect sex drive. Are you romantically attracted to people who are romantically attracted to you? Perhaps your standards are too high. |

Causes of low libido could be physical and psychological. Sometimes it’s both.
