Before you Mock MMMites
Before you mock anybody for investing in a ponzi scheme , think about this.
I invested all my Savings from NYSC in Savanah Bank, The Bank Packed up and left me with Nothing. I bought 10,000 shares in Transcorp when Obasanjo and "Madam Stock Exchange" initially sold the fraud to Nigerians but up till today, no shares were allocated to me and my money was not refunded. I remember my then employer deducting money from my wages and paying into government owned Housing Fund and also into the National Pension Fund, the 2 bodies were dissolved and my money dissolved with it. My Father and millions of Nigerians also paid into the same funds for more than 30 years and nothing came out of it.
Some state governments are owing their workers up to 1 year wages, the federal government and some parastatals are not different.
My father-in-law gave his life to NTA as a photojournalist travelling all over the country to cover events. Many years after his death, his widow is still waiting for NTA to pay his entitlements.
Remember how government came up with idea of community banks and encouraged Nigerians to patronise them, remember Allied Bank, Lobi Bank, Abacus Bank, City Express Bank, Assurance Bank of Nigeria, Hallmark Bank Plc, Ivory Merchant Bank, Lead Merchant Bank, Metropolitan Bank, All States Trust Bank, Coop and Commerce Bank, Commerce Bank, Credite Bank, Pinnacle Commercial Bank, Kapital Merchant Bank, Ivory Merchant Bank, Prime Merchant Bank, Republic Bank, Eagle Bank Plc, Liberty Bank, Progress Bank, North South Bank, Pan African Bank; remember pensioners who had their money in Societe Generale, dont forget the traders whose lives were destroyed by Gulf Bank, and many more too numerous to mention. Should we blame these people for keeping their hard earned money in NDIC insured banks ? Dont ask me about NDIC please.
On a different scale, remember how many hours you spent at the polling booth to vote for Buhari, remember how we all campaigned vigorously to remove Jonathan and how many people you encouraged to vote for PMB. What has come out of it for us all ?
How about the money you worked hard for and contributed when your Churches /Mosques wanted to establish those private universities and now your children are excluded from the qualitative education they offer because you can not afford the tuition fees ? What do you think about the money you pay to NEPA or whatever it is called now every month regardless of whether they supply you electricity or not ?
How are these different from MMM/Givers forum/Or any other ponzi scheme? .
I agree that some people are into ponzi because of greed but most of those who invested in ponzi schemes did so because they have been duped by some government backed schemes in the past. There is poverty in the land and people are looking for ways to survive. They knew the risk they were getting into and were all willing to take the risk. Afterall, living in Nigeria at all at this moment is a risk and working for the government is also a risk slightly lower than investing in a ponzi scheme .
The truth is every Nigerian living in Nigeria is into one form of ponzi/hyip or the other and I do not see any sense in mocking anybody for taking a risk, as long as it is with their own money. Afterall, Nigeria itself is a Ponzi scheme.
God bless Nigeria.

Wike is a Big Ponxi whereas his counterparts Amaechi and Buhari are fantastic 'Ponxist'
we all see mmm as a scam but we refused seeing the government as a scam, neither do we see the misused offerings in some churches or mosques as scam. Abba Morro duped me but he is moving freely. Wike refused paying our old arrears yet he is not seen as a scam. I am not into Mmm but it is not right to see people condemning Mmm because of a slight disruption whereas most of us are into sports betting, 'Kalo-Kalo biz', 'pam 1 from 1', pool, lotteries, illegal house agent without qualifications, 'political O-YES members' etc. Why are we casting the first stone when we all are guilty in one way or the other. About 2 years ago, MTN flopped and people where loading 'already used cards'. Somany persons collected cards from dustbins and gutters just because of awoof. Who would deny that he did not partake in that card scam. Don't that make you a scammer?. Why blame Mmm that has put smiles in the faces of most Nigerian youths. I expect you to blame those that refused to yield to the instructions of investing spare money. The advice for those embarking on the scheme or other pyramids is to use spare money. MMM is a thorn in the flesh of Nigerian banks and they are looking for every means to kill it but I doubt if they can succeed. But even if they do, there are many other Bitcoin investment which I prefer to mmm. Long live Bitcoins

Every time "pray" and "pray" and "pray" problems that we can solve ourselves we'll use prayer to deceive ourselves we are too damn religious to a fault for Christ sake ... Immagine that u have seen it to be a normal thing that December salary should be paid by January while some states are paying December salaries plus 13 month! And you're using "let's pray" as consolation no I refuse to pray andbi demand my December salary and arrears be paid this month.

No need for abusive word; one make the demand while the other, pray it to reality. At the end every smile to the bank. If Feb, March, July only is paid, i may wish the others get to next year to cushion n kick-start 2017

Salary update please.................................

The commissioner of finance spoke on air yesterday that he thanked God for the state government who has been able to clear all the arrears before Christmas.

Therefore, urging all the banks to commence payment with immediate effect. He further stated that they have done their part by releasing the money to them.

Personally, I'm expecting my remaining arrears today whether you believe it or not.

They must pay and that's a fact, payments may start trickling in today.

The effects of the last Re-Run Elections have shown them that is nolonger business as usual. so they need the civil servants more than we need them not now.

The government has already said it pay December salary before Christmas. This has nothing to do with rerun elections which the pdp won most seats anyway. Many state governors didn't pay salaries and still won reelection eg Osun. So stop bringing politics all the time into salary issue.

Infact this is good news in making, also good morning to us and our governor (whenever ones wake up, that is when his morning starts) if it comes through, that means our governor has starts work, and all glory will be giving to the lord almighty, who has made it possible for the governor to work and look for our support, which I shall gladly give him, if he continue and maintains his work.
