I'll like a lil clarification:
Does Oxsam88 know "banks in the USA hate cash deposit like hell"?
If he knew they do why did he request for $100,000?

All these advanced cointries has alot of issues with huge deposit...even wire transfer with huge amount can land u trouble here.Thats why I prefer to open multiple account and split it.On him requesting for $100k, in my opinion he goofed on that because of various anti-money laundering laws.

Will comment At tooltips various saga , I think online credibility and reputation is overrated ,you must do you due diligence always ,that's why I like agarawu comment on knowing not only the the person but there friends and family ,where they work and live etc

I believe It is impossible to have online reputation/credibility more than you have in real life

It's obvious some are chewing more than they can swallow and overlevaraging on other peoples funds even though they are have built a reputation from past dealings ,the mark of a business person with impeccable trust and integrity is to have reserves u can fall back on ,when an unforeseen ,unplanned event happens to your working funds ,sadly most of us don't have this

@ tooltip ,I think u will get your money back if it's indeed legit ,but it will take time ,I wish u the best

Honestly this is not the first time I received money as much as that. I've received higher amounts. As long as you didn't to go the bank to withdraw cash... you are fine. The account is a business account not personal and my business is registered legally. He offered to sell $100k, we had an agreement as usual. I'm not expecting the a cash deposit (I'm not an idiot), sometimes, when he can deposit several amounts daily. There wouldn't be any problem as long as these funds are CLEAN

Me and a nairalander were doing one business together which involve PayPal... Then PayPal limited my account, I paid him from my pocket.. Up till now he didn't know PayPal don limit my account ( I think he later knew after few weeks)

This is the way it's supposed to be. Seems integrity and credibility is not a word some people on this thread know anything about.

@ oxsam88:

Your account was limited so you can't pay:

Now for the sake of argument, let's assume the above statement is true and your account really is limited with tooltip's money tied in there. Here is where that argument assumption takes us:

Scenario 1:

Since and during the limitation, you have posted $20k, $25k and $35k btc. Meaning you actually do have a means of paying him because you have 'sold' $80k worth of btc. Now even @460/btc, that's 36.8m, yet you find it difficult to pay up his 7.5m balance?

Scenario 2:
You actually haven't sold any btc, but you did collect $20k from tooltip and your first post of available btc since the limitation is $20k worth of btc...invariably the money tooltip supplied. So you posted it, no one bought and you decided to add an extra $5k to the stash, making $25k worth of btc, still no one bought then you added an extra $10k to the stash. So assuming the 1st $20k wasn't tooltip's money, you don use $15k of his money to replenish your btc wallet. Why couldn't you have refunded it as you initially suggested, making you indebted only to the tune of 750k naira? Your argument that you can't make multiple payments doesn't seem to hold water since you did make multiple payments to buy those bitcoins anyways.

The worst thing you can do in the USA is to constantly receive cash deposits into a business account. You do that, it's perceived as you are trying to cover your trail (hide the source of funds). Simply put: you are washing money aka money laundering.

I quite agree with you

you are not an idiot

you know exactly what you are doing

why do you keep making reference to the money been clean unless you have plans to claim it's been withheld for much longer

$20k was clean before it got in your possession
now it might be unclean

No matter what is going on.... life continues, business continue. I have orders to fulfill as I have bills to pay. As long as my account is limited as a result of the deposit from tooltip, I can't pay him from other resources (this is business). Secondly, I need something like a security to keep us in contact in case I need information about the deposits. If I pay him, he has no reason to talk to me anymore. I know him from nairaland, nothing more. This is just a simple logic.

I think he's trying to say the accounts were overdrawn due to charge backs as a result of the type of funds he has been receiving.

The fact that someone can also drop huge sums to select people without guarantee and hint at ties to the mafia also begs some questions.
That is why I said both of them should just carry their problems elsewhere and solve it whichever way they can .i don't think any legit business man or enterprise will be dropping huge cash into ppla accounts just like that .,
Both of them should just enter the wall
