People Democratic Party (PDP) has won all 17 councils in the Abia State local council elections, the Abia State Independent Electoral Commission has announced. Four political parties- the PDP, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), All Progressives Congress (APC) and Labour Party (LP) participated in the polls on Wednesday. RevDesm0ndJuju: In the words of those people whose alias starts with letter "Z", "PDP has died in Nigeria", "PDP can't win any election in Nigeria again". I laugh in Swahili. 2 Likes |

sarrki: In our clime, breaking simply means "very hot", just like bread from oven. Besides, be rest assured that APC will win all councils in Kano. If you doubt me, ask how over 2 million people voted for APC in 2015 without single rejected vote. |

sarrki:This is what happens when there's free and fair elections. I guess Buhari and APC were too scared to rig this one. |

Re: BREAKING: PDP Sweeps Abia Council Polls, Opposition Rejects Results by TippyTop(m): 2:05pm On Dec 23, 2016 |
OLADD:It would have been too obvious had they tried rigging, considering the feelers they got when Buhari wanted to travel to the east, no one would have believed INEC. Lalasticlala come and see "dead" PDP still winning 100% |

TippyTop: It was obvious to Buhari, Ameachi, Dakuku and Daura that Rivers is predominantly a PDP state but they still deployed everything at their disposal to rig the rerun elections. They would have attempted same in Abia if 50 gallons of crude oil is found there. |

RevDesm0ndJuju: APC pulled a distant third in the polls, it would be illogical for them to lodge any reasonable complaint. |
