hopefully at least early ember month next year we should be getting aso ebi

It would be great if they can deliver by the ember months next year. That would be fantastic.

ah! I have my diary full of sketches of this
I sometimes imagine a "triumphant entry" into boko camps..bringing glad tidings of hot lead along

if proforce gives me sumthn similar I name my dog after it straight grin

It is also such an easy build. It basically built on a Hilux chassis. Proforce needs to be innovative. They added armour, heavy duty rails and 2 weapon stations and we got this beautiful vehicle.

Nothing difficult to build herem

Good lord, I'm missing a day!

Why are there solar panels on-top of the vehicles?
Cause we were environmentally conscious way before it became a fad wink.
I suspect it was to supply power to non-standard additional systems on the vehicle. I'll try and find out why the Vlermuis had those panels.

OFF-TOPIC (Maybe not since they do operate on the continent):

I'm very impressed with the Belgian Special Forces. They go for practical and affordable solutions for their vehicles. The Unimog Carat for long range patrol and the Jankel Fox for rapid reaction. I mean the Fox is basically a Toyota Land Cruiser.
No wonder they're coming to look at the REVA Scout as a possible replacement for the Carat.

Good, the Fox is another practical vehicle. You can see it has armour in the right places.

The Polaris vehicle which Canada got is nice, but it's not cheap. The Fox on the other hand should cost no more than 70k a unit, armour included.

Libyan Afriqiyah Airways flight seized by hijackers and taken to Malta

Reports say the hijackers, believed to be Libyan nationals, are threatening to blow up the plane with 111 passengers on board.Initial reports said two hijackers had hand grenades and threatened to blow up the aircraft with 111 passengers on board - it is not clear what the demands are.

The Libyan passenger aircraft, was on an internal flight from Sabha in southern Libya to Tripoli when it was diverted to Malta.

An airport security official said the pilot had told Tripoli airport that the plane was being hijacked before communications were lost.He said: "The pilot reported to the control tower in Tripoli that they were being hijacked, then they lost communication with him.

"The pilot tried very hard to have them land at the correct destination but they refused."

Passengers include 82 males, 28 females and an infant.

Similar type vehicles from Inkas, the Canadian Armoured Vehicle Manufacturer. However unlike the Proforce vehicles, these are used in the military role.

Are they based on similar chassis and engine capacity as the proforce types?
I don't even know what the specifications are for the proforce vehicle.
