CHAPTER ELEVEN Isabella sat head bent at the counter of the bar looking at her drink. The wedding was coming up in two days and she had tried her best to participate in all the events concerning it. She had given Kaylee her wedding gown from her failed wedding. It was a little snug on her but it only helped accentuate her assets. That had made her a bit jealous, how it looked better on her, but she shaked it off. It was not the time for her to jealous. As the wedding drew closer, she spent her times alone as she wasn’t needed in the preparations since professionals were contacted for other areas. Her grandmother kept details of ‘the plan’ away from her since her ranting. And she had moved into a motel, to further herself from everyone. “It’s not right to drink alone,” a voice interrupted. She turned around to see Pluto seated beside her and smiled at him. He told the waiter to get him what she was drinking and they both drank quietly. “How have you been?” She asked, breaking the silence. “I’ve been fine… around.” “Isn’t this just awkward?” she chuckled. “Two dumped people, drinking together. You know you were technically dumped, right?” she asked as she took the glass and swirled it. “I know,” he replied. She gulped her drink and stood up to leave but staggered and hit a chair almost falling. She was caught mid-air by Pluto who had left his seat quickly. “You’re drunk,” he said. “Seat here,” he said helping her sit on one of the chairs by the counter. “Let me pay up and I’ll help you go home.” “Don’t bother,” she said. “I’ll drive myself back.” “That’s more reason for me to take you home. You don’t need to drive while drunk,” he replied as he brought out his wallet and paid for himself and Isabella. He helped her stand and they both left the bar. Outside, she had puked so much on some bushes; Pluto had to carry her to the car. While in the car she had told him the name of the motel she was staying in and her room’s number. He drove off. *** While in the motel Pluto had helped Isabella to her room and also lie on the bed. He took off her shoes and the cashmere cardigan she had been putting on and tucked her into the blanket. He was about leaving her side, when she grabbed his hand. “Stay, please,” she said, still holding on to his hand. “Don’t leave me alone,” she mumbled. “You don’t have a chair I can sit on?” “Lay by my side.” He looked at her. She was drunk and gullible at the moment. He wanted to walk away but he felt pity because of all she was going through. Watching her fiancé get engaged to someone else and soon, walk the aisle. He sat beside her on the bed and she moved a bit to create more space for him. He took of his shoes and lay on the bed. Isabella moved closer and snuggled next to him. He stretched out his hands and she put her head on it as a makeshift pillow. It didn’t take long for him to feel her hot tears on his arms so he took his free hands and wiped her face. His move to peck her forehead ended up as a kiss as she had raised her head moments too soon. He wanted to break the kiss but for some odd reasons, it did not feel strange to him. He felt her hand unbuttoning his shirt and he held them. “I want this, Pluto. I really do,” she whispered. He let her hands free and she undid the buttons, one by one. He took off the shirt and threw it on the floor, his lips still on hers. He gently removed the strap of her vest as his lips left hers and trailed to her neck. He could smell a vanilla scent on her and also it’s taste on his lips. She got under him and he pulled down the shorts she was wearing, leaving her unclad. He quickly removed his too and moved his lips back to her neck and used the tip of his fingers, which were cold, to trace from her necks to her glands. It made her shiver and her tips became erect. His lips followed his fingers and he brought out his tongue and slided it over her tips. She let out a soft moan. He stretched a hand and rubbed it between her thighs; she was wet. His rubbing made her open them up more. He looked at her, she had her eyes closed and was biting her lips. He rubbed his already erect man part with his free hand before entering into her gently. She arched her back and let out a moan. She wrapped her hands around his back, raised her hips slightly and told him to go faster. He obeyed and hastened his pace making her tighten her grip on his back. He thrusted a few more times before they both came at the same time and he fell to his side of the bed. They both breathed heavily from the action. They cuddled together, and then fell asleep. *** Kaylee looked at herself in the mirror and turned to her side. The gown was really a beautiful one and she couldn’t take her eyes off it. It was the blue lace she especially loved as it was her favourite colour and gave it an icy feel. Cold. That was exactly how she felt at the moment. She couldn’t believe she would soon have her dream wedding – small wedding with only family in attendance - with the man she loved. The fact that months ago, she wouldn’t have thought of dreaming of that moment made her chuckle a bit. Isabella tapped her on the shoulder and handed over the bouquet to her. “Are you sure you can’t stay for the wedding?” Kaylee asked. “No, I really have to be somewhere else,” Isabella answered. Kaylee did not push the conversation further. She knew why Isabella did not want to attend the wedding and she wouldn’t too if she were in her shoes. Who would want to watch a person they love get married another person? “I’ve got the veil,” Kaylee’s mother cut in as she came into the room. She was at her happiest. The day Kaylee had gone to tell her she had jumped around the living room, asking how they had gotten together, when they had gotten engaged. The answers she had gotten were insatiable and had led her to ask more questions. There was a knock on the door. Isabella left to answer it and Kaylee’s mother helped her put on the veil. “Are you ready, Kay? The driver’s here,” Isabella said as she walked back into the room. They all looked at each other. They had not been informed of any driver who was coming, neither was there any previous arrangement for one. They all went out and saw the chauffeur seated on a chair in the veranda, legs crossed. He stood up immediately and walked towards them. “David sent me. He said he wanted to meet up with you privately before the wedding. He should have given you a call before now.” The man said to them. Isabella did not like the look in the man’s eyes so she volunteered to call David but his line did not go through. The man brought out his phone and showed them the message David had sent him and some calls that had come from him. They checked the phone number and it was legit so Kaylee agreed to leave with him. She waved her mum and Isabella goodbye as the chauffeur shut the door after she entered. Isabella watched the car as it left the compound. She still felt uneasy about it. *** There was a horn at the gate and the gateman quickly opened it. A black car drove in and Pluto came out. He ran to the house and knocked on it. Kaylee’s mother stood at the door putting on her earrings before she opened the door. “Hello dear,” she said to him. “Good day ma’am,” he replied. “David sent me here to pick up Kaylee. Sorry I’m a little late.” The woman’s eyes widened in shocked. “This has to be a joke,” she shouted. Pluto looked at her, confused. “Someone just came, moments ago, and picked her up. He said David sent him,” the woman cried out. Pluto ran out of the house. 11 Likes 7 Shares |
