When I am accelerating, gear 1 to 2, the car jerks.
When am turning left I hear noise on the legs but when turning right no noise. Also when I apply sudden brakes I also hear the noise.
just scanned the car (pilot 2010) and I got these codes. What do I do?

Easy. Pressure sensor A on transmission is causing the erratic shifting. The other code for the crank sensor seems to be a history code. Have the pressure sensor harness checked, a rodent could have done some work there cheesy

you are just a bleeped up dreamer. i know u dont have a bicycle.

even when you drive a V6 crosstour, because of the body size you feel the car drives empty, the engine is not in control of the body. there is this drag and lack of power you experience. unlike the power you feel driving a V6 Accord or even an I4 car.

More Tips - when u hear occasional right front side noise don't be too in a hurry to change shocks, ball joint, combination bushing. most times it is your right Engine seating that is worn and u wont know cos there is a rubber cover over it. the simple way to check is shake you engine if it moves then it is engine seating. cos a good engine seating would not allow your engine rock when u shake it.

God just sent you to me this morning. I have changed my shock twice last week, both brand new and direct tokunbo shock. Still the banging noise is there whenever I enter small pot hole. Chai..... I'm gonna check out the engine seating.

Easy fix, brake switch at the brake pedal is out of place. Place your back on your foot mat, and look up at the brake pedal you will see it.

Most times superglue and soft bathroom silpers cures that madness forever

Or a simple foamy material. That idio.t almost made me mad last year. Lol

Mine has a lock at the brightest end of the knob. If pushed beyond that extreme, it enteres into lock and all dash lights including radio stay bright when the external lights come on. Check if its same with yours.

Apologies for the late feedback. The trick didnt work for mine. The knob has no lock.

I will try and check online if there is a solution. Else, I will consult a "Rewire".

Sir, how much does a steering rack of a honda-accord 98 cost. Drives on speed and bumpy roads has been really erratic for me.

Thanks

. . . switch the low beam or high beam light ON. Turn the "service reset" knob on the instrument cluster right or left till you get your desired dim/brightness (you might need to press knob down before turning in some vehicles)

Expect to hear two beeps when you turn knob far-right and far-left. Hope this helps

I am about changing the front bumper of a 2004 accord and I saw this below the front driver side fender (just before the tire groove). It's a wire not connected to a switch.

I asked my kazeem what it's for and he said it's the "carburetor sensor" I immediately became confused and asked him why the car should have such a switch when it's an injector engine but he could only smile sheepishly at me.

Please tell me what it is and if I should leave it or reconnect it. I've been using the car like this since I got it and it's the first time I'm seeing this because the bumpers have never been taken off before until now.

Thank you. Oga that pic 1 is disconnected oh. The wire that's supposed to be connected to it is hanging & dangling nearby.

So the only use of that wire is to deploy the airbags in the event of a collision?

Gazzuzz,

My Accord 98 drinks fuel a lot. The injector nozzles have been serviced, car runs fine only for the fuel consumption.

Today it was discovered that the catalytic converter isn't in the exhaust no more. My mechanic advised that I buy it as it will stop the excess fuel consumption.

The query is, does the absence of the catalytic converter cause excess fuel consumption?

I want to assume vehicle is a 4cylinder?

Basically what is happening is one or both of the following Too much fuel or not enough air entering combustion chamber.

It can be broadened into a list of possible. Causes, but before we waste too much data, what work did you do of recent?

Yes it's 4 plugs.
I had the plugs changed two months ago when I had misfire but that was later discovered to be due to water in fuel tank. Injector or is it valve were cleaned and everything has been smooth since then, also alternator change.
That's all
