AnonyNymous:ever since Nigeria is one entity all Nigerians have equal rights to practice their culture. The Deji should know that the Ezigbo title is a leadership title and not a traditional stool in Akure.the man needs education and enlightenment about the ezigbo title. |

I am Igbo but yes I really support the ban of all these stupid Eze ndigbo titles. Nonsense. People who have no royal blood/background, no pedigree and can't even open their mouths in their homeland will come and be answering 'Eze ndigbo' in a foreign land. What is even their function sef?? Besides Igbo does not have a centrally recognised king. imagine, these same Eze ndigbo in foreign lands will still bow to a real king, so what's the point? Cant they just bear ' ,president of Igbo people's association akure branch'? Why are our ppl so crazy for titles? mtcheeww. Don't bother calling me afonja, cos I'm not one. 10 Likes 1 Share |

kettle84:Keep quiet there! Even in the United States, do you see Native Americans going to historically black communities to say they want to go and be establishing some Cherokee leader or whatever nonsense you're saying?? Its only when it has to do with another culture that you remember that Nigeria is one federation. When it comes to other things you say people are oppressing you, but now you have all sorts of silly excuses to pull out from your anus. That's how you people to will still come and be saying Lagos is no man's land even though you cannot trace up 5 generations of your ancestors from there. Although Nigeria is a federation, since the constitution deems it fit for traditional structures to remain in place, then Igbo's should honor them and have respect for their hosts. Simple. 13 Likes 2 Shares |

AnonyNymous:the problem with the southwest and its people is fear and social insecurity. they are so insecure that they become fearful when there is nothing to fear about. let me educate you folks about the Ezeigbo title.the Ezeigbo title is a leadership title of an igbo person over other igbos in any place.its is a leadership title used to unite igbos in a place.the Ezeigbo has no palace or stool ,he is just a leader of his people in their meetings where members are taken care off. There are Ezeigbos in kano,USA,Brazil,India Lagos etc. These ezeigbos are just representative of their people or coordinators of the welfare of their people. They are not kings with palace and cabinet chiefs.they don't rival the kings of their host communities. Yoruba stop being scared! |
