Noneroone: You list all the Eastern States yet over 70% of their population don't even live in their state. Igbos don't like their state of origin. They're scatttered all over Nigeria. 20% in the North, 50% in the West, 10% in the Middle Belt, and just 20% in their state of origin. Now tell me again, which state is the best to live in? 2 Likes |

No standard airport in exists anywhere in Nigeria ok. I have office and residential house in Abuja...power supply is zero compared with standard power supply around the world where average of 363days power supplies is obtainable. Tnx. |

Pls op remove Ibadan from that list asap. Ibadan is no longer that safe haven we used to know. One million boys, soludo boys, Indomie boys to mention but a few are terrorizing the ancient city on a daily basis, cases of armed robbery everywhere with boys storming your street in their 20s with ladder to scale your fence, robbing from house to house, pls don't just conjure something on Nairaland without verifying the actual situation. Those guys will even rob you and demand your car keys to carry their loots like TVs,laptops, hometheatres etc. Ibadan ko, Ibadan ni! 1 Like |

OP, please remove PH from that list. Portharcourt is more or less is an insecure large slum settlement filled mainly with shanties/villages and cannot even make the list of twenty best cities to live. I can support my claim with pictures. Best cities to live in- serene cities with peace, low crime, good people, decent housing etc. Abuja, Enugu, Awka, Asaba, Akure, Abeokuta, Uyo, Calabar(in no particular order) takes the lead. These are cities that your door can be open throughout the night and you will not hear a knock. Very peaceful and beautiful to enjoy your wealth. 2 Likes |

Only the cultists and agbero in Lagos are greater in number than the whole of Bayelsa state population. This is a partial write up, period. |

Am interested in this topic cos am planning to move to a new town to settle down by next year march. My proposed destinations include some of the state's mentioned here ; Ibadan, Akure, Makurdi & Calabar. I prefer a destination that is highly commercial with business opportunities, moderate cost of living and safe. My best pick is Akure but am open to your suggestions. |
