well to me, I think the best thing is to avoid these updates all together, Im saying this because when I bought my hot 2 last year, it was working perfectly for up to a period of seven months until I stated downloading updates, I think those updates present more problems than they solve. After the updates, I started having problems with battery, installation of games, camera and so on. I started downloading other updates Month after month, and when a problem is solved say camera, another would present itself. One thing I noticed is no matter the no of updates, the phone will never be as 100 as it was. My opinion though, cos those updates were from google itself not Infinix and they still presented problems, even those using laptops and all complain when they updated from windows 8 to 10 and so on. So what I noticed is that these guys are never 100℅ in their updates. Had to sell the phone later. Now I'm using hot 4 and I'm never going to do any updates cos I think I learnt the hard way. I have no issues with the phone, and everything works perfectly from battery to camera and all

Even when nougat is released, try to wait for some pple to do it first and hear their results b4 u do it. Its always wise to learn from others than experience

My people u guys should go ahead and update... Just did mine this night.... And I tell u, the update is fucking dope. It enhances the music production. Mhen,am loving the stuff like mad. The sound is now so clear,cool,filterated,loud and clear.

They added Dirac clear sound production and the phinox browser which makes the browser cooler and smooth. Bros... This phone is dope.

I have been using my phone for two months now... they've pushed like 4 updates to you guys (as I do see it online) but I never get any system update..(Not even one out of the whole 4)

Initially I was skeptical about updates (especially after my experience with camon c8 marshmallow update). But with my hot 4, I have updated 4 times, with no issues at all. The recent two updates improve the phone. It's all for good. If you have the data, update. Personally, I have not noticed any bug with the update. Enjoy! Happy new year...

My Infinix hot 4 which I have had for about 4 months, suddenly went off and has refused to power on, what beats me is, this damn phone just went off on its own, the battery was fully charged to 100% no trying to update or flash tools, that's right just went off and has refused to come on 3 days later, please gurus help me out

that's simply because he knows the answer to your recovery question so he selected forgotten password and answered it. did same for my gf
