Okonjo Iweala Asks Yoruba Graduates A Thought Provoking Question by ScotsReferendum: 12:51pm On Dec 31, 2016
Okonjo Iweala asked some group of Yoruba graduates in Lagos that if President Buhari pledges to give each of them 30,000,000 million naira interest free non refundable business grant to establish manufacturing businesses that can produce the things imported into Nigeria base on one condition. Which is to produce a workable and marketable prototype of anything imported into Nigeria.

Can any of them produce any of those products imported into the Nation.?

Fellow Nigerians see confusion on their faces.

Imagine one mentioned bread making while another mentioned liquid soap and antiseptics.

So I put it to you guys and ladies out there

Can you produce a workable and marketable prototype of any of the things imported into Nigeria in order to get this business loan?

The challenge is up to you people especially those of you who blame Jonathan past admnistration daily for your unemployment situation.

Just don't view the topic but say something before you leave

Thanks.

I mean where the graduates are asked the question.

Btw, assuming what u wrote there is correct and she really asked that question... Do u think Iweala is so stupidd to direct the question only to tge Yoruba's? Isnt she just asking them cus its only the set are in front of her as at the time?
I believe she would have asked thesame question from the Igbos if they were to be in front of her as of that time too.
Moreso, u should have learnt one thing by now that even the hausa graduates and igbos wont be able to make any meaningful answer to her question if asked thesame.
Our educational wall is just producing bunch of refurblished products all after white collar jobs in which you and i passed through too. It is now our sacred duty to change this menace to a favour.
Lets forget this ethnic bigotry and face the problem together. My 2kobo though.

You expect her to go public about everything

Remember she talks less in public and more in private just like Jonathan.

Some things are said in private that will never get to the public

Besides answer the question

The things we import, which of them can you produce.?

30,000,000 naira could be your lucky gift in 2017.

But someone else could also come and say she made completely different statements to yours, and directed them to Igbos instead. Without evidence to back up your statements, why would we believe you over that alternative?

Personally, I am very, very doubtful that someone of Okonjo-Iweala's learning and stature would degrade herself by engaging in the sorts of tribalistic rubbish beloved of semi-literate Nairalanders. As far as I'm concerned, all you're doing here is slandering her reputation to advance your own childish and petty agenda.

OK if you think so

Your cup of tea

Just don't feel bad when you are told to produce a workable and marketable prototype of one of the things we import and you lost out in getting 30,000,000 because of your unbelief next year

Watch out how your people will not make the top 1000 outstanding future entrepreneurs next year

Do you have a prototype of your own phone because they will focus on imported hi tech products.

Make sure you are not bragging or dreaming

Next year will surprise many talkative graduates.
