OK if you think so

Your cup of tea

Just don't feel bad when you are told to produce a workable and marketable prototype of one of the things we import and you lost out in getting 30,000,000 because of your unbelief next year

Watch out how your people will not make the top 1000 outstanding future entrepreneurs next year

Rubbish! Entertain whatever tribalistic fantasies help you sleep at night. Sensible people have far better things to worry about than "your people" nonsense which has nothing personally to do with them.

Okonjo Iweala asked some group of Yoruba graduates in Lagos that if President Buhari pledges to give each of them 30,000,000 million naira interest free non refundable business grant to establish manufacturing businesses that can produce the things imported into Nigeria base on one condition. Which is to produce a workable and marketable prototype of anything imported into Nigeria.

Can any of them produce any of those products imported into the Nation.?

Fellow Nigerians see confusion on their faces.

Imagine one mentioned bread making while another mentioned liquid soap and antiseptics.

So I put it to you guys and ladies out there

Can you produce a workable and marketable prototype of any of the things imported into Nigeria in order to get this business loan?

The challenge is up to you people especially those of you who blame Jonathan past admnistration daily for your unemployment situation.

Just don't view the topic but say something before you leave

Thanks.
This question/challenge should be to all Nigerians generally. I'm not sure I understand why it has to be sectionalised or tribalised or politicised.

Make sure you have a prototype that is workable and marketable

Importation goes down next year
Re: Okonjo Iweala Asks Yoruba Graduates A Thought Provoking Question by Dedetwo(m): 3:15pm On Dec 31, 2016
The answer is capital “NO”. Most products imported into Nigeria are covered under Intellectual Property. Even to produce a prototype as suggested by the question requires a license.

Some things are said in private that will never get to the public

Besides answer the question

The things we import, which of them can you produce.?

30,000,000 naira could be your lucky gift in 2017.

Nonsense. I guess you think Igbos will produce anything meaningful abi? The toy cars made of paper foil that you guys showcase frequently on NL must have boosted your morale.

Talk is cheap. I'm guessing you think all you need to produce anything worthwhile in this country is money.

Typical Nigerian mentality. "If there's a problem, throw money at it"

The infrastructure needed nko? Abi will I produce without electricity? No proper transport system? Nothing works.

Fine for madam puff-puff cheeks to talk. She was minister for finance in this country for donkey years and all she handed over was a broken economy, looted and pillaged.
