The IAF just said goodbye to a very dear friend. The General Dynamics F-16A/B “Netz” (Hawk) has been retired after 36 years of history making service. Following the type’s retirement, Israel put 40 of the jets up for sale.Maybe even more than the McDonnell Douglas F-15A/B Baz that came before it, the F-16A/B Netz revolutionized the way the Israeli Air Force fights. Their existence affected the course of history by shifting the strategic equation in the Middle East.

Lol that's the same source I was basing MY argument on cheesy

To my mind surplus just means standard ammo, perhapse not the correct use of the word, but you know what I mean. Fact remains, you will have to buy specialised ammo and neither RSA or big has the budget to do so (apart from SF)

I know a DMR is not a sniper rifle, it's a marksman's rifle. But 600m is still a tough shot for a semi auto and the FAL simply doesn't get the MOA unless it's a brand new build. Sure, If you are bench shooting it's no problem... But out in the field? No Bueno!

I didn't know about the M27... Thats just retarded... Marines: first in, last to think

Yes and it stats tge EBR is made from surples M14s

But thats not surples ammo. Normally ammo is just ammo, surplus ammo is old ammo. And there is zero need for high end ammo for shooting out to 500 or 600 metters. If you want to shoot longer range use a proper sniper rifle. You dont need fance ammo for the DMR it should infact use the same ammo as every one else.

It has been done and 600m is all so the extrem most of the time it is with in 300m.

Hmmmmm...... grin grin grin grin

I see turkey changing positions......

Sooner or later the turkey will not allow the United States to make use of its air & ground space, there relationship with the United States is going sour especially over the US disagreement to release the mastermind of the coup.

That might cause issues since there are US nukes in Turkey

Sometimes we get fixated on the shiny gray of strategic assets and their employment. How to use SSNs or SSKs, a flight of Su 35s or whether transport 130s should be converted into the AC version. These are all viable questions but occasionally we overlook the most obvious which is also the most subtle.
Many have wondered how tiny Rwanda overran massive DRC and even invaded the CAR at one point. Their RPF while wayyyyy overrated hasn't really been taxed by local opposing militaries. The Tutsis with their long term agenda to control the whole Great Lakes have a secret weapon as powerful as a squad of Spets.
Their women!!
Often 6 footers their eye watering hotness and loyalty has made them an intrinsic part of the Tutsi arsenal. I've fu-err,(cough!/cough!),uhm,seen several and this is the look.

They can and DO get into places even specops wouldn't dare! In fact there's a special custom the only one I've heard.

When a Tutsi woman gets to the time of fertility and she is sure if she had sex she would become pregnant, there is this ritual that Tutsis do. The women always go back home when pregnant a spend around 3 months at their parents homes.

tutsi
Gasssppp!! This is a shocker. I first heard of it around 2001 and is common knowledge in the DRC and Uganda.

hat will make sure that the next in line of succession was going to be a pure Tutsis in the process they called cleansing process or in their today language "GUPFUBURA."

Not all strategic assets cost hundreds of millions of dollars needing hours of training-some assets are borne! Wish we had a Ugandan here to confirm what I know is true.
Nemesis2u,do you have anything like this in your parts?

So you are saying the JF-17 and FC-1 are one in the same?

If you look at the close-up photos of the JF-17, all the panels have serial numbers and they say FC-1 on them. Including the Ruby version assumed to be for Myanmar.

Here are two images of JF-17s showing the FC1XXXX numbers too.

That looks like a large amount but it not enough for full tank force. Most would be spent on basic gear and better logidtical equipment and not on tanks. So you will see more MRAPS, Trucks, body armour, tents, radios, extra.

Thanks for the explanation. What are other necessary needs for the military that can fit into the budget?

while if you creating these new divisions there is a fare bit I mean some of it is not even military gear. HQs will need computers for example, you will need work shops to maintain vehicles there is a lot of things your new divisions will need that is not front line.
